Exclamation Results: Screenshot Competition Round 1

Firstly, thank you to all who participated. Some very creative and stunning shots.

For round one we have a tie.

    Joint winners:
=Shrensh= and Treeble with 12 points each.

    Congratulations!

NOTE: In future rounds we may have to decide on one clear winner lest several participants are all on a par where the scoring is concerned. I will give further thought to this and amend the original rules when time permits (I am boarding a coach in a couple of hours so don't have enough time to devote to this issue at present).

On this occasion I shall PM both winners and make a suggestion that they collaborate on the next round. In all honesty, I had not anticipated any ties but this is easily fixed for future rounds

I hope both winners are content with this idea for now and I will lend some thought to this dilemma during my very long and tedious journey

Round two should commence today at some stage or as soon as viable (do bear in mind the time zones), after Treeble and =Shrensh= have discussed their proposals.

We'll risk carrying the same rules for round two as opposed to altering them half-way through but for round three we'll make some clear guidelines as to what happens when two or more participants share the victory!

Well done to our two winners

Congrats to everyone. A fine start to this experiment. Excited to see where it goes.

I haven't heard from Treeble yet, and I'm drawing a complete blank for ideas. If anyone has any bright ones, let me know...

Well I reckon the theme option could be something out of the following if you need some ideas, (that just leaves a particular level of a particular game for the second option ):

Lara interacting with, or near to, an animal
    Lara fighting an enemy
Lara in or around water (as before)
    Landscape shot (Minus Lara)
    Landscape shot (including Lara)
    Lara on a vehicle
    Lara running from a boulder...

....Just a few to inspire you

I would suggest something if you're stuck for ideas, but I don't want to stick my ore in, and I wanna keep my ideas for when if I win a round! heh

I still haven't heard from Treeble, so I'll just post a couple of themes if I don't hear anything soon.

For the record, must I start a new thread for it?

As I see Shrensh hasn't started the new topic yet, I took the liberty of doing so. (you have a PM btw, S.).

Sorry for the hassle, I've been away the whole week. Could barely survive.

Thanks, btw. Now get those shots sent in to round 2, will ya!

Yes, thanks Treeble, didn't realise you were away. Can't wait to explore Antartica for a (hopefully), half-decent snow pic. I've just managed to get my pistols in the High Security Compound so could skip to the snow bits

Only trouble presently is that the snow is kinda black and pink - I sure hope the bug irons itself out as we aren't allowed bug piccies and pink snow is so yesterday!
