    Cool At last...

You may or may not remember that I went on a sailing trip with a class last April/May. I did promise you photos... But being completely new to digicams, I had the darn thing on bad settings all through the trip. I've had to edit most of the photos in PS, and this has been a long and tedious work that came to a halt many times because I was fed up... Now at last though, they are all presentable, and I hope you will enjoy this. I'm a novice at PS too... so some photos still look a tad odd, and some are over edited, don't judge me too hard, I'm still learning!

Images are reduced in size and resolution and should not take too long to load even on modem, but there are quite many of them...

    Cool

Wonderful pictures, Solange, thanks for sharing

I had no idea Brugge was such a nice city! Sure tempts me to visit that some day

And about the trash in amsterdam, the garbagemen were on strike that period I believe. And about that sign, for some places it's sad but true. It's probably a result in being very tolerant to some things.

Can't wait to meet you next year in Amsterdam, I know a good Indian restaurant

Lol! BTW, those photos took some skill. No way do Hyde Park pigeons look that pretty up close in real life!!

Ooh, isn't Brugge gorgeous? All those green-leafed canals, decorative bridges and stone buildings would make an interesting TR destination I think. Those Belgians have kept that quiet haven't they?

Amsterdam looks cute too but more developed and busy.

Fantastic photos. Tempts me to take up sailing.

Some of those pictures were just epic! I really got a great sense of scale there. I love it when mother nature knocks me on my arse with her wondrous beauty. Looks like you had a blast. This makes me want to visit Europe even more

Such excellent photos - now I don't feel so bad about quitting photography.

    Red Face (Embarrassed)

That pile of garbage in Amsterdam -- that's not really garbage. It's the work of art to attract tourists.

    Camera.

That is a camera shot from a ship travelling side by side. If the shot was taken from the top , it will be like this.

    Thanks everyone!

@ sick Hehe, maybe you have!

It's a date, Tipsko, I know a good Indian place too! Let's go there first, and after that we can hook up with Suzie on that café and stuff ourselves! Or maybe we should go there first?

Thanks, Susan! I think it was the romance that made them pretty!

@ Gillie I was lucky enough not to get sea sick, but it was trying for a little while. The tide was so strong at one point, we were actually going backwards at 0.5 knots instead of forward!

ycdeo, I don't understand what you are asking! How I formatted the text on the forum? Or something about the ship? On the forum, I used the edit text above the text field.

The ship belongs partially to the school, and is used in teaching mainly, and is therefore funded through that. When it is not out with students, it is used as a charter vessel, to bring down the cost of running it.
