    Question Getting Into Eidos

    GETTING INTO EIDOS
I am wondering if any independent game developers got their game published by Eidos?
I am developing a game much like Legacy of Kain and was wondering how one may go about presenting the demo to them. Any ideas?

I can't help you much with advice about that, but I'd like to say that the game looks and sounds like its going to be really great. Keep up the nice work.

    Big Grin

thanx "Eddy Bones". We are working very hard at it and we hope to have the demo ready by may 2006. I was asking because the story is as great if not better then the Legacy of Kain games but we are more on the ghotic side.
"maniac44" I ready that however you know how it is. U send in a request it get bounced around and never get in the right hands.

There has to be a more direct line to the person in charge. Any ideas are welcome.

You might want to have a look as well see if you have some more luck. Eidos is now part of the SCi group.

Probably NONE !!! Even if they're great games, it's the NIH syndrome...

If it's Not Invented Here, it's no good...

Keep those games coming !!! I'm running out of custom games to play...

This was true with Eidos, who in the end chose only to publish games made by their internal developer studios. However with SCi there aproach will probably be different.

Additionally this might also be a interesting read: http://www.sloperama.com/advice.html

If you mean "Has Eidos published a game from outside developer?", the answer is YES.

But Eidos isn't Eidos anymore. They're SCI now. By looking at SCI's web page, it looks like they are willing at least to listen to your proposal.

Nice web page, by the way. It'll help in selling your project.

It is sad that not many ouside games have not been published by such a large publisher. I hope to change that as this game will be the basis for my master plan.

Thanx for the nice comments. Things are moving faster then expected as today we got our very first ingame render of one of our characters. A very exciting time. We also got some cool voice acting of the script i made for the game.

Alot of stuff still to do but i am very excited to see that u all liked my game idea. It makes me work even harder.
