Pandora Hearts

Just recently started watching this and am actually tempted to buy the manga... and will even buy the anime, despite my dissapointment and its lack of finality. Actually, the only reason I would buy the anime is because every version of the last episode I find online cuts out halfway through...

but anyways, this series is just the sort of bizarness that I was looking for. The anime is well done, and now that I'm hooked I gotta read the manga too... which I hear is even better!

What is Pandora Hearts about ? And all I seen of it is the opening because it looks.........yaoi or yoai or whatever.

Very much recommended (it's one of my favourites, and this DVD set is simply gorgeous). It makes the perfect gift, too.

I could see how, even after reading/watching it, Gil's devotion to the main character would be questionable... but the main character and main plot aren't anything like that. To summarize a bit, Oz gets thrown into another dimension known as "abyss" where a buncha paranormal, creepy monsters called chains try to kill him, but he makes a contract with a chain known as the blood-stained rabbit, who transforms into a girl named Alice, in order to get himself and her out of Abyss. However, he learns that while only a few hours have passed for him, ten years have passed in the real world. Alice and Oz team up with a group called Pandora, who are looking for the Will of the Abyss while combating a more sinister group called the Baskervilles. The team that Oz and Alice team up with are trying to learn the secrets of a tradgedy that happened 100 years ago by collecting all of Alice's missing memory's, and since this is Alice and Oz's goal as well, they agree to it.

Hopefully thats a decent intro without spoiling too much.

appreciate it, managed to find the last episode and again, extremely dissapointed that there are no plans to continue it, since so much more has happened since then in the manga... this Anime was really well done. But apparently the manga is just as good if not better, so gonna have to check that out as well.

I wish manga's would release more frequently in USA... seems like translating them wouldn't take too much time, since scanlations do it in a few hours, and producing all the copies for release is the only thing that would take the most time... only 7 volumes out in USA and only 180ish pages which takes no time to read since its manga...

EDIT: only SE has 7 volumes out... is SE manga only E-manga? thats a big turn off if so...

I've noticed that the Yen+ company usually tends to pick up SE manga titles for physical manga release. (They've got Soul Eater, Black Butler, B*ichi and I think a couple of others...) The books are well done and keep all Japanese cover art if you haven't had the chance to pick them up already.

When I was last out to pick up some of the Black Butler GNs, I did notice a few out for Pandora Hearts. I saw a few episodes of the anime, but for some reason it didn't do anything for me. Not sure why, the artwork was nice and the story looked halfway interesting just...not sure. ^_^'

Grimoire, the link you posted no longer has those items, and Amazon doesn't seem to have them either (aside from copies being sold by Amazon users), I finally get some money and still can't find one that I can afford D:
