Can only hope. X-2 got one, so it's possible.

I think some of the soundtracks from the game would sound great. Did they even do that for XIII?

Yes, they did have a piano collection for XIII and a OST+ which you can get on itunes and from the store.

They do have the OST+ for XIII-2 now, but it was only release in Japan and I have no idea if we are going to see a NA release, but it might happen.

Indeed. The piano arrangements truly bring forth the magic of the melodies in such a wondrous way.

They're my favorite SE album series. I think the more recent ones have been really inspired sounding, too. I'm not crazy about a lot of FFXII's more focal tracks, especially Clash of Swords and Theme of the Empire, so I'm hoping that if we get more of the predictible tracks that the piano arrangements salvage the pieces for me.

I'd like to see "Seeking Power," "The Salikawood," and "White Room" myself.

I feel the same way. To be honest, the FFXII soundtrack wasn't that great to me, but the Piano Collections have always made spectacular compositions from mediocre soundtracks in the past. So I'll be looking forward to its release.

I think FFXII was trying to maintain the same atmosphere the first Ivalice game, FF Tactics, had. A lot of themes reminded me of FFT. I agree on it's own, there were only a few themes I genuinely enjoyed, but I appreciated the effort to keep the connection between games.

    ---

Back on the FFXIII-2 Piano OST, I'm sure we all noticed there were a lot of reoccuring themes. I loved all the variations of Caius' theme, so a piano version of any of them would be awesome. Maybe a slower melody like the actual "Caius' theme", but I really enjoyed "Followers of Chaos" too...Though admitedly, the vocals are what make his theme so ******** epic in the first place. I'm reminded of hearing the piano version of One Winged Angel, and I liked it, but the lack of vocals really took away from it's impact, in my opinion anyways.

Noel's theme is nice, and I like "Full Speed Ahead" (though I knew that song first as "Run", so...).

Let's see what else..."Wishes" would be an obvious chice. I also think "Warrior Goddess" and "Etro's Champion" could transition well into a piano-only style. I really, really loved "Eternal War", but as the name suggest, the theme kind of drags on and on. It has a nice flow that doesn't have much variation, so it might not do well as a piano theme, but I'd still love to hear it.
