Why would they make a movie about a forgotten game? UFG is dead and buried, there will never be an SD2.

This is not a forgotten game by any means. Sleeping Dogs movie has no influence in the fact that UFG is no more. And again, you're wrong, SD 2 can happen.

I'm hoping the movie revives interest in the franchise and we get Sleeping Dogs 2. Or maybe Sleeping Dogs: The Movie: The Game... no, I'd prefer Sleeping Dogs 2.
