    Hi
I just purchased the Hitman game and I can't even launch it. It crahses instantly.
In Event Viewer I get the following:

Faulting application name: Launcher.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5714e57f
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.2.10586.162, time stamp: 0x56cd45b4
    Exception code: 0xe0434f4d
    Fault offset: 0x0000000000071f28
    Faulting process ID: 0x%9
    Faulting application start time: 0x%10
    Faulting application path: %11
    Faulting module path: %12
    Report ID: %13
    Faulting package full name: %14

I have done CHKDSK, SFC and DISM with all of them showing no errors of corrupt system files. I have also reinstalled the game. Everything else works fine. Just this game. Please help?

Hey - I'm playing on PS4 but I'll see if I can help out

Are you able to launch the game from the game's folder?

Just did a quick scan of kernelbase.dll issues and one of the problems seems to stem from the user's windows profile being corrupted - gunna read further into it, hang tight

Ok, since it seems to be something that ties into the .NET framework, try reinstalling that - dll issues are always kinda sketchy heh.
