    This is the official wishlist for the next TR game (TR11)

    All feedback we receive from the community will be added to the OP and will be presented to the TR dev team.

    You can start wishing away. To upvote existing wishes, post the number of the corresponding wish that is listed in the OP.

    Also, please keep your wishlist as short as possible and to the point. You're free to go into more detail below your wishlist, post example links, include pictures, discuss each other's wishes, etc; just keep all that separate from your actual wishlist. This is so it will be easier to add your wishlist to the OP.

    20) Fix her Facial Expressions, she's always sad when she finds Relics or when she's under water.
    21) Stop telling me what to do.
    22) Lara should wear a Braid or atleast with Dual Pistols and in some sort of Classic Wear.
    23) ROTTR PC has the Best Keyboard Mouse System, keep it please.
    24) Exploring Full Croft Manor, sad we couldent explore her Flat atleast.
    25) Keep the RPG Style, that was Awesome.
    26) Be creative with more Enemy/Friendly Character Features, stop with the Clones.
    27) Keep the Mild Swearing with Lara and Characters, it was good.
    28) No more Side-Kicks, Jonah gave no Purpose to the Story and NO SAM if the idea is to make her return.
    29) Keep the Grapple Hook Axe.
    30) Make Alternate Routes from Blocked Areas, instead of Fast Traveling through cut off sections via Camps.
    31) Stop with the White and Colored Stuff, blend them with the Environments.
    32) No More Exclusives.
    33) Keep Single Player.
    34) No more Leader Boards or Market Place.

    some of them are fine but do you think you can make these wishes a lot smaller and to the point please? like 18. thats way too long. also no links to images either. or any links in general.
    look at steel_wing as a guide how to formulate the wishes. also, wishes 1-18 are already used. if you can please change the numbers as well, that would be great. each wish has its own number. once the list is up you will see what i mean.

    35) Tomb Raiding / Killing Mob ratio to be 80/20 at least. Last two games where heavily biased to Mob Killing.

    36) No more survival. Replace finding twigs and oil, with selling relics and research. Money is then used back at Croft manor to develop new Tomb Raiding tools. As mentioned in an other thread this could be great plot device with Lara having to Steal back a deadly artefact she had sold.

    37) Conservation. Lara has always been rather destructive in her exploration. It could be forgiven due to world ending artefacts or the need to survive, but it would be nice to have an alternative (more difficult/obscure) route/option for completing the level other than destroying a 2000+ year old statue, building and so on.

    Can we second other wishes? If so, no exclusivity, globe trotting and explorable Croft Manor.

    - I think I like the reboot without Croft Manor. At some point you have to move on, I would leave it out. It's a new Lara and a new world. Time to move on.
    - Better ability to do stealth. Able to set up booby traps. Also traps for animals and snares.
    - Keep Camilla for sure.
    - Lara travels to different Earth locations by boat or aircraft. Has to swim to shore or parachute from planes, and good lord how about a normal underwater breath holding ability that is realistic. Possibly she finds herself on a Mars shot and explores the face on Mars, which turns out to be a tomb. (yes its a stretch but eh)
    - Use of vehicles.

    Absolutely disagree. Yes, it's a reboot, but look at how much of pre-reboot things we've already seen make an appearance in the first two games of said reboot. It's obviously not the intention of the devs to just carelessly chuck out everything that made the older games great. Yes, it's a new Lara, but that doesn't mean there should be no ties to any of the older games.

    Croft Manor has been a staple of the franchise and including it in TR11, especially when explorable and done right, would be a great way to stay true to the core of what defines Lara as a character. Getting rid of the Croft Manor would make no sense and would not be an improvement to the character as far as I can see. We already know that Lara is strong enough to make it on her own when she sets her mind to it. No need to throw a valuable asset away for no good reason IMO.

    Agreed, especially considering that parts of it was shown in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It would make absolutely no sense to dismiss it now. We've had a change when we saw Lara's modest and humble flat in London and Croft Manor itself had a bit of a design change just the same. I think TR11 would be the ideal time to showcase more of it, especially considering the ending of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

    The white ledge is so obvious its not challenging at all. You always know where to move next

    Outfit.
    Naturally more outfits, & more diverse bonus. Half of the outfits in Rise has the same recover faster from wounds bonus
    How about little RPG element where there are multiple gearing like shoes, belts, gloves, magic amulets with small bonus, ala Diablo.


    41) more hairstyles, braids options

    42) Same Lara look
    They done a good job of retaining Lara look from Reboot to Rise. Keep it up

    43) Keep the current save points system but compliment with traditional save system (start where you left off instead of a base camp)

    No, Rise was TR10 and the next one is TR11. TRA isn't being counted in the numbering because it was a remake of TR1

    - Tomb raiding is the main activity of the game not optional
    - combat is infrequant but meaningful
    - skill based platforming instead of automated (except on easier difficulties)
    - white ledges are gone or at least only appear during survival vision mode
    - puzzles aren't just simple physics oriented activities but mental ones
    - full control over depth during swiming exploration
    - the dual pistols are the tomb raider's main weapon not the "iconic" bow
    - lara doesn't sound out of breath everytime she speaks
    - lara is graceful and acrobatic again
    - no more exclusivity deals

    I also like the dual guns way more than the bow, but I gotta say that I don't really see the point is making something her "main" weapon. If Lara has both the bow and the dual guns and the player can choose which one to use then that's perfectly fine with me

    So, I will just put the numbers of the wishes I agree with, followed by new ones. Wishes with *, I will add an explanation under my wish list. Why are some wishes in green?

    Wishes

    39*, 13, 14, 37*, 31, 40, 11, 43, 18, 21,

    I would have 20, but I’m not keen on the booby traps/snares part.

    Additional wishes (hopefully I have the numbering right, seeing as the numbering is out of sequence.
    47*: Less combat orientated outfits
    48* Less period piece outfits
    49*, More sense of wonder in a Temple setting, plus more intricate design (IE: less combat)
    50*, the final area (IE: Lost City) to have an accumulation of all pillars and not just combat/action
    51, Actual supernatural enemies and not just undead soldiers
    52*, No more abandoned Military Bases taken up by enemies.

    Explanations to *
    39* = I’d like to see a better implication of a puzzle element to the final boss fight. And no, imo, the stupid helicopter thing didn’t work for me. That wasn’t part of the boss fight. The boss should be harder than the regular Jo mercs, perhaps the final boss has a supernatural element or is well shielded or something. Unfortunately, Trinity as an organisation are human and Konstantin aside, they seem against supernatural or are covering it up, so I don’t think they’d be using it.
    37* = There was plenty of exploration in Rise, but I’d like more mandatory exploring. Let me see that Lara has to explore more in order to figure out where to go or do next. Baba Yaga implanted mandatory exploring quite well. More of that., please.
    47* = this is fine if say, Lara has to infiltrate an enemy camp, but combat outfits with all that gear attached is just ugly
    48* The odd one is nice, if it means Lara can blend in with the locals like the Remnants, but there was overkill, imo for the DLC outfits.
    49* = I’d love to see the Temples in the sequel be bigger and more involved. Less combat definitely, at most, maybe a handful of mercs that followed Lara in, or an animal or two that made the temple their territory. I miss places like Barkhang Monastery and St Francis’ Folly.
    50* = Kitezh was disappointing to me as it became one massive battle ground. While I appreciate the final section needs more action as it’s a race of sorts to the final goal of artefact, I still feel that Kitezh lacked this sense of awe despite the impressive architecture.
    52* = We've seen these in both TR'13 and Rise, those WW2 base/research base and the Russian ones in Rise.
