    Only 4 levels at launch?

I've been watching interviews with IO Interactive on Youtube. Whenever an interviewer asks them how many levels there will be at launch, IO seem to dodge the question or not give a straight answer no matter how many times they are asked. They reply with "There will be Levels" and then a couple of times have said "There will be levels from the trailer". There were only about 4 levels in the trailer.

I think they wanted to get the game out in time for the Hitman movie DVD release, but couldn't get it finished by Dec 8th.

There will be enough content to keep you busy for a looong time!
The trailer was based on 1 level only that takes place at Sanguine fashion show. Other locations were shown just for 1 or 2 seconds and were used to show people that HITMAN won't stay just in one country but will travel to a different location all over the world.

That is also misleading and dancing round the question of how many levels will be available at launch. Many people haven't forgotten how IO mislead fans when promoting Absolution you know.

IO Interactive will announce the amount of content Hitman will have at launch when they're ready. You'll drive yourself mad with speculation. Patience is a virtue.

They want people to pre-order the game. Many people are not willing to until they know how many levels the game will actually launch with. Being misleading and elusive whenever anyone asks the question won't help them with sales. They have already lost a ton of sales by being digital only first. Just seems odd the entire approach they have taken with this new Hitman game. Looking at social media and YouTube you can see that this business model etc has caused a lot of confusion amongst fans.

you don't have to pre-order it, nobody's forcing you to. in fact, you don't have to play it if you don't like it at all. i don't see what's the problem.

Rubber_Ducky, IO will definitely tell the quantity of levels in the game before the release. It's just not now.
