    Question Ledge Jump (Upwards) help

    I'm trying to get Lara's ledge jump upwards to work properly, but I don't know how.

    I see that its broken up into different animations with various state-ids

    So, (starting from the first) it goes like this:

    Animation: 473 is Lara hanging on a ledge. (State Id: 89) (Next animation: 474)



    Animation 474: Lara about to jump upwards, (State-id 28, Next animation: 28)



    Animation 475: Hanging position again. (State id: 25, next animation: 476)



    Animation 476: Lara jumping from ledge (backwards) (Stateid: 3) (Next animation: 76



    Does these animations need to be scripted?

    Yes, they do need to be scripted.
    But only the first animations of the set.
    So, one Animation= line for the ledge-jump-up and one for the ledge-jump-backwards.
    If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck, it IS a duck.

    How do I setup up the Animation command, there's lots of confusing words. (or is the a pre-done pone?)

    I made a basic animation scripting tutorial quite a while ago.
    You can find it on Skribblerz, HERE.
    I also posted scripts for the ledge-jumps in it.

    Make sure you change the script if your ledge-jumps animatiosn are in slots other than the ones I put in the scripts.
    If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck, it IS a duck.

    Okay, i used the script command, and while I used it in game, lara doesn't perform the animation, she just jumps up while hanging on the ledge.
