    Changing the intro...

    Hey! I'm really far from releasing my level but I want the intro to be ready. How can I change the intro song ??Instead of the usual TR4 intro , how can I add a pic in my intro? Is there any way I can add a fmv video before the level starts??

    The title song is number 104. So if you change that, replace it with anotehr track, it'll play that track instead of the default track.

    Another thing you can do is edit the
    Level= DATA\MoA00-title,104
    line. Change 104 to whatever number your new track has.

    I'm not even sure if it is possible to use an image instead of the title.
    But you can change the title "level" just like you can change any other level.

    3.
    It s possible because psiko has done it in his Hypersquare game, but I don't know how to use FMV's.
    So no idea there.
    There's info on it on other forums I guess. Or in Paolone's tutorial projects somewhere.
    If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck, it IS a duck.

    Ok thanks!! So , instead of a pic , how can I change the camera intro??

    Like I said, just like any other level.
    Build the "level", or edit the existing title, and place the camera's.
    Use the original title for reference to see how the flyby camera's are set up.
    If I remember correctly you need the "flyby" trigger somehow...
    This trigger is only used in the flyby's in the title.
    If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck, it IS a duck.

    It is typically use the
    Image=IdImageCommand, IdImageFile, ImageFlags (IF_...), EffectTime, AudioTrack, XPosition, YPosition, SizeX, SizeY

    and Customize= CUST_BACKGROUND, BackGroundType (BKGDT_...), Flags (BKGDF_...), Parameter, ImageId commands.

    But it is not recommended to use for title. But yes, you surely can use it.

    Here's an example:

    Image= 3, 4, IF_PRELOAD, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE
    Customize= CUST_BACKGROUND, BKGDT_TITLE, IGNORE, IGNORE, 3

    This custom level used an image for the Title, so it is indeed possible:

    FMV, you have to use the FMV commanded (in the Title section)

    and this command along with it.

    Customize= CUST_TITLE_FMV, FmvNumber, TestMultiPlay

    After you fill in the appropriate values, you must then place the correct trigger and flip effect in the map to trigger the fmv, which is flipeffect 405/ Trigger (What to trigger) FMV and select the number fmv to trigger.

    Also, don't forget to include the FMVs directory folder in the trle root directory.

    And change the extension of file for the fmv. (Because TRNG no longer uses .bik videos like in the old trle engine.)

    There's also a special TRNG game engine in which has a special setting just for FMVs. Its for if you have any problems viewing your FMVs in-game. But its not anywhere out.

    Yes, you do need the flyby trigger. (to prevent the camera from glitching up)

    sure, if you use this command:

    Image= 3, 4, IF_PRELOAD, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE
    Customize= CUST_BACKGROUND, BKGDT_TITLE, IGNORE, IGNORE, 3

    The wished image will be displayed for the title. But you'll still (of course) need Lara in the title.

    How to read it:

    3 = the command id. (so it doesn't conflict with any other image command)

    4 = is the image that will be displayed for the title. meaning the image file: Image4.bmp will need to be present in the PIX folder..

    If Image4.bmp is not present in the PIX folder, the Image will be ignored in-game.

    That's strange. could you post the error's exact message? because

    Customize= CUST_BACKGROUND, BKGDT_TITLE, IGNORE, IGNORE, 3

    IS indeed a syntax command.

    Which TRNG version do you have?
    Because the background image feature was only implemented in TRNG 1.2.2.7.
