I had an email from Amazon and it's June for the UK as well now. Anyway, it's four months after issue 4, which releases in February (so February/June). Most of the other volumes came out four months after the final issue of an arc. Only one (Spore) came out three months after the final issue of arc 1 post Rise comics.

    *sigh*

    Well I have issues 2 and 3.
The comic store keeps forgetting to order issue 1, so I still can't read this series yet. They also keep messing up another series that I want to read.

Anyone know of any decent sites I can order my comics from? Amazon only do kindle versions

    ^Awww, that's a real shame you're having to wait.

Anyhoo! A new four part arc starts June. Tomb Raider: Inferno is being written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly once more, but brings back Phillip Sevy to create the art.

    Yup.

Glad the comics are going to continue!

EDIT: Well, this is confusing... On the Dark Horse website the Survivor's Crusade series collection is listed as 'volume 3' - as in after the 12 issues that were release previously...

Thank god they're changing the artist! Phillip Sevy isn't my personal favourite, but his work on previous TR comics is miles better than the current art, imo.

Also, this might be the first time in the entire Dark Horse TR run that I'm actually intrigued by the storyline. Of course it's too soon to tell, since we only have this vague description but the whole endless pit/oldest tomb in the world does sound very cool, as well as the Trinity operative that's actually ready for Lara - if done right, this might have potential!

On a less positive note, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT COVER?!!?

The cover is not great, is it.

Issue 4 of Survivor's Crusade has been pushed back and is now releasing 4th April (was 7/3).

    Very interesting outfit choice.

I read issue #4 last week. I'm really glad this arc is over and we're getting a different artist with the next one. This last issue was particularly bad in terms of art.

I felt this arc as a whole was a little allover the place, I didn't enjoy it very much...

With all the hype the creative team has been building up for Inferno, I certainly hope it's better than this one. Fingers crossed!

^So I take it the "dark raider" the creative team has been teasing will be this Nadija.

The cover is a lot better than the one for issue 1 of Inferno, though Lara looks a little too bulked up imo.

Cover and synopsis for issue #3.

The lines of reality are blurred and Lara is lost in a mind-altering state caused by the most improbable of circumstances. Lara is forced to face her own memories—however painful they may be—and relive all of her worst experiences. However, Lara ultimately comes to a realization that may just be her salvation . . . or possibly her demise, and must make an imperative choice, once and for all.
    • The penultimate chapter!

Interesting that she's wearing a shoulder holster in that cover. It's unusual seeing Lara with one.

As for the synopsis, I guess this wip Phillip Sevy posted on twitter is from this issue. Looks like Lara will be hallucinating the Endurance crew that died on Yamatai...

^The art looks miles better than the previous arc. Phillip Sevy might not be my favourite but it's certainly refreshing to see some quality art in these comics again.

If anything, I think Philip has improved. His style for drawing Lara made her look a tad masculine in some frames, but he has improved on that I feel.

And yes, I think his art is better suited to TR than Ashley A Woods' art.

Amazon shows a preorder for volume 3 finally. It's called Crusade and it comes out in August. I guess the UK gets it earlier.

So, the first issue of Inferno came out yesterday. I liked it. Poor Lara did not have a good day.

They just keep getting better, don't they? I do really like #3 though.
