Also the fact that apparently one of the voice actors of the original Deus Ex returns and is apparently in the very first scene where a scheme is planned. (just like the first deus ex).

Many chinese surnames there. Apparently, China plays a major role in the game.

    She is very beautiful.
According to her profile, she voiced on AC.

Can anyone find a sample audio of Andreas Apergis's voice, so that we can see if he sounds like David Sarif.

Ah yes, Melanie St-Pierre, well known for her titillating performances as "Puke Girl," "Nurse," "Sexpot," and "Campus Hot Girl #1".

It must be tough as acting is a job where work can be extremely unpredictable. The majority of new/young actors usually spend years playing specific or minor roles before they're offered something much better which may eventually lead to their 'big break'...if this even comes at all.

I'm sure all the cast have done a splendid job voice-acting DX:HR and I wish them the best of luck. If DX:HR is a success, it will surely enhance their career portfolios.

He even looks like Adam now. xD

He has a great voice though. I look forward to hearing lots of it in the game.

    Voice Acting in Human Revolution

Following the advice of Happy, a poster here, I sat down to watch the Human Revolution trailers one by one. Trouble is, I can't. Lights dimmed, ambience all set.. I still can't. About a third into the first one I'm watching, something obvious strikes me, like being pooped on by a bird passing overhead, I noticed it like I would notice that.

"The voice acting is horribly generic" is my first, post-bird poop thought. And you know what it just will not go away. In fact, the more I let the poop linger, the more I begin to think about you know what, how awesome was Deus Ex's voices, crappy Australian bartenders and Hong Kong Swedes and all.. I love them. I hate bird poop. And its still on my head as I write this!!!!!!

I recognise none of those names, and it's brilliant.

I get sick of games that waste budget on A-List Hollywood talent, because it doesn't really do anything for the game, often the actors can't voice act for crap, and often the guys who are meant to be directing them can't direct worth a damn.

Liam Neeson was extraordinarily dull in Fallout 3, and so was Sean Bean in Oblivion. Sometimes it works - Rockstar seems to be able to direct well, and then you've got guys like Patrick Stewart, who's got enough real acting chops to do well in a voice role, and James Woods loves games and cartoons.

But most of the time, it's a risk I'd rather not take.

And thank Confucius that EM's actually hired Chinese speakers to do the Chinese roles!

well, it certainly looks like we got half of the cast from Assassin's Creed.
Yes siree, the excitement never ends.

Liam Neeson, Sean Bean, and Patrick Stewart were amazing in Bethesda games. Only problem: they spoke for about 5 minutes. If you're going to get talented VOs at least use them well.

Eidos Montreal = Eidos stealing a bunch of Ubisoft talent.

In any case... my favorite studio for voice acting has to be Rockstar... they just do a really great job with it.

And my favorite video game voice actor of all time is Samuel L. Jackson in GTA: San Andreas... that's how you use a famous actor in a game.

A close second would be Mark Hamill as the Joker.

Better reason: they're both set in Montreal and it costs more to fly people in. You'll also notice that plenty of the voice actors in both are Canadian.

As for Melanie, she voices various characters. So it is said in her resume
"Deus Ex: Human Revolution Various Eidos Interactive"
    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1954519/resume

That just about solves our voicing blanks.
I am a prototype for a much larger system.

How? By telling them to use the same voice as they have for every character they've ever portrayed in everything?

It was a good performance, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't make him a good voice actor. He's just doing exactly what he does in every single movie, only with no camera on him.

    Smile Adam's Voice Actor

... is it the one who did Simons? Please, listen to the new trailer (Adam speaking at 0:23 ) and then to the intro of DX1's Simons. Or to any other video of Simon's voice.

So if it's not him they still sound extremingly familiar.

Both can be looked up online by searching the title and character names. Knowing the actors' names can also show you what else they have done.
