I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 last night with a group of friends.

Great movie, only issue I had was the man sitting in front of us, who SNORED during a lot of the movie, he'd sleep, snore, wake up, fall asleep almost immediately, then snore again, LOUDLY. The kind of snore that makes children weep.

My friend kicked his chair and had the man's wife curse him out and grimace at him.

So yeah, great movie, despite that gentlemen . . .

His wife and him were there with their little kid, we believe. No problem with that what so ever, taking their son to see a movie . . .

It's funny though, at one point or another during the movie the man's wife left the theatre and my friend said that judging from her scent she was a smoker.

So really, these parents brought their possibly 5-year old or younger son to a 2 and a half hour long movie, one leaves to have a cigarette while the other sleeps and snores. Who's making sure the kid's alright?

People sleep in theatres sometimes I guess, but if your husband is snoring aggressively and bothering numerous theatre goers (whole theater was packed, obviously) at least have the courtesy to wake the stupid S.O.B. up or tell him to G.T.F.O. and wait in the car, or something.

And what the fuck is this new habit of you people to curse all the time ? ...

There's an art in saying these naughty words you know ? ...

PS: hasn't the law that grants people the right to shoot at annoying bastards in theater been legalized yet ? ...

if not then i'm glad i've stopped going to the theaters ...

My art is using acronyms, Grievous.

As for the law, no not yet but hopefully we'll see a Bill for it in the near future.

    Unhappy

The last day i went to the theater still haunts me as i think of it now ...

For one of the movies there was these two young folks who were , if i saw it right , stuffing bread in empty water bottles ... ... ... i don't know how to explain it , really ...

Then for the second movie (which was a comedy) there was this woman , i'll say almost twice as old as me , sitting right next to me , and seems to be laughing to my direction ... as if she was looking straight at me , cheerfully , whenever something funny happens on screen ...

    Let's just say i got scared ...

Part Six was one of the best films of 2009 , and the trailer for Part Seven shows lots of explosions ...

And i'm not even a Potter fan ...

PS: and what the hell man ? Ice Age rocked ! ...

Watched Fincher's The Game yesterday again. I do like this film. A lot actually. But I keep forgetting it. I'm sure you'll all agree with me that this is not a bad film at all...

Just seen Harry Potter, it drags on. Few jumpy bits but ends on the worst cliff hanger ever, it puts Halo 2 and Lord of the Rings: Fellow Ship of the Ring to shame.

"When I get back, I'm gonna do so much cocaine and rape so many fine *es"

Just watched Predators today. I actually liked it. Adrian Brody was not nearly as unsuited for it as I thought. Although the guy who played that convict guy was the best.
    Then I watched Heat again.

Predators didn't work for me. The frequent nods to the original film are ... embarrassing, to say the least.

The ending is , anyone seen Point Blank? Where Keanu Reeves falls onto the floor and breaks his leg while chasing a criminal with American president masks? He then screams and shoots multiple times in the air, well it is similair to that.

The film is not special, i suggest people to wait untill the dvd comes out, then watch it a day before the 2nd part comes out to get the real ending.

    Mystery Team.

It was exactly what I thought it would be.
I liked it but that doesn't mean shit these days.

    The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

Now this was a very tense and fairly unpredictable crime/drama. Highly recommended.

I was going to see 127 Hours but then I find out the people I was going with were going to go see Love And Other Drugs.

A dramatic comedy starring Jake Gyla-however you spell his last name, and Anne Hatheway. I didn't really think I wanted to waste 2 hours on a movie about a womanizing Viagra salesmen who finds love with a woman who has parkinsons disease, especially when the alternate movie was a Danny Boyle movie about AARON RALSTON!

Suffice it to say I didn't go.

Watched 2001: A Space Odyssey last night, still feel the same way. Best conventional Special Effects ever used in a movie, excellent cinematography and direction,

but the pace and story are an absolute bore . . .

STILL, there's ton of bonus footage, a lot of it about the making of the special effects, the best aspect of the movie!

And there's an hour long interview with Stanley Kubrick, never thought I'd see that.
