Thumbs Up No, we did not meet Ian Livingstone

But we got to see Karima again.

And she was as lovely as ever.

As expected we tried out a lot of games,

    Gothic 3

    Justice League Heroes

    F.E.A.R. Extraction Point

and took a quick journey to Pluto, just to see how he is doing.
Not easy to find that little bugger.

    I had to drive back.

We drooled over some very cool posters ...

    and other goodies.

The thing about Canadians is, they are very friendly people. But give them a hockey stick and they'll kill you.

Sadly, Pluto is no longer a "planet". It's now considered a "Dwarf Planet".
Since Pluto is now a Dwarf Planet, I suggest we rename it after a dwarf.
    "Grumpy" comes to mind.

Karima sure has aquired a very nice tan.
Why is she wearing a heavy coat?? Doesn't it ever warm up in Germany??

Catsuit, you definitely make a stunning Captain. You should have your own starship.

    Thanks for the nice pics!!!

Thank you, Goran, for sharing these great pics with us.

I especially like the Enterprise bridge pics. How did you make that blurry effect in the background?

AWESOME!!! I'm looking forward to Justice League, and that XBox 360 has to be mine one day. It's the law.

    Cool

Oh, it's real, Treeble, too bad it was behind glass there. ;D I need a 360 still.

Maniac, I will always consider Pluto a planet, and if those astronomers had actually flown toward him at speed, they'd think so too.

Karima certainly looked like she'd been on vacation on some beach recently....and she had! Next to me, we look like coffee and cream.

Catsuit, you definitely make a stunning Captain. You should have your own starship.
Thanks! That's very kind! Funnily enough, my perfect Husband thinks so too. We are going to visit Utopia Planetia later today.

Rose, that's what happens when you go very very fast.

ML2U, get in line, eh? ;D But Justice League Heroes is definitely a game to get, you can team up with another person and play SuperHero. You know how up our street that is.

Karima in mufti - nice to see that for a change.

Have to say, by the looks of it you had heaps of fun.

And I really like those boots of yours CatSuit&Ponytail.

    Plus, thanks for sharing.

You are welcome, Apuleius. And thanks. I love those boots, they are very comfortable.

    ...
The Pluto story is not over! Tons of protests, nasa, scientist, me. 400 scientist said he's not anymore, for all? 2500-10000 related scientist wasn't ask. The initiator of killing Pluto seems to be hot for an entry in the book of history, only. A pedition from astro-scientists is comming. Just to let you know.

Wow! Look at all those sculpted, chiselled, angular faces! No fat on any of those people there, nosiree Bob!

    Cool

The picture is only from the waist up.

But I am glad you folks enjoyed the little taste of the convention.

You know, I was so intent on playing the new Gothic 3 build I didn't even SEE the lovely Muckle standing right beside me!!! In fact, Muckle was there at the con but we somehow missed them. More's the pity. But we know where they have their offices.

    Cool shots!
I really must start to get out more.
At least I've been getting out to see a few bands lately.

I cancelled my membership to the American Museum of Natural History
in 2001 when they opened the new Rose Center for Earth and Space and they failed to include Pluto in their model of the Solar System.

Pluto is now know as "134340".

On the other hand, the recently discovered planet known as "Xena" is now officially called "Eris".

    More info here.
