Big Grin My THIEF-iest Things CONTEST Round 3: FOOD & DRINK - Prize DXHR Soundtrack - 15 FEB

    ROUND: THREE
    THEME: FOOD/DRINK

Submit THREE images (side-by-side as in the example below ) of any tasty edibles that remind you of "Thief".

The food could be your very own baked creation, an item from a store, or a suitable image from the internet.

Remember - we're looking for a combination that distinctly says 'Thief'.
For example, a sketch of a crunchy apple or crusty loaf, a photograph of a juicy plumsie, a tankard of ale or one of cook's iced buns (credit to FM maker, Christine Schneider). Cheese, carrots, cucumbers! You get the idea!

Personal photographs, any form of creative art/drawings and/or images sourced from the internet are all acceptable

OPTIONAL: Add a caption/explanation below... if you think it will enhance your combination.

The winner's prize for this round is: "DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION" OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK
Runner-up prize: Purity Fist / Team Fortress 2 Heavy items

    CLOSING DATE: 15 FEBRUARY, 2013 / 23:30 GMT

Let's look at an example of a submission.

Present your images side by side. Use small images/thumbails or create a collage.
If the topic was "Gems", you might consider one of the following ideas:

    - a jewelled crown (a photograph, drawing, a crown-shaped cake)
    - some crazy insect-infested amber quartz (a nature photograph, a necklace or brooch)
    - a box of flashy rings from your local market stall
    - a picture of, say, your mother, best friend, bf/gf or pet (a sketch, collage or photograph)... and so on.
Followed by an explanation/caption/quote below (optional) that fits in again with "Thief".

and choose to submit these 3 images as a combination:

Garrett: "More gems from the Bafford job - this should help pay the rent!
Stole away one of Cook's delicious cakes for his Lordship - in the shape of a crown though, how more pretentious could he get?!
Her Ladyship's pretty amber pendant, at least that is one spider I don't have to deal with, and something flashy from the Stone Market Plaza merchant... he owed me anyway!"

    ___

So, there is no time like the present, taffers, let us begin!
Submit your entries in this thread.
    Good luck!

I can almost here the glug-glug of the mead, the crispy-crunch of the apple, and the greedy gulp of the cheese.

This round is making me hungry for more!

The winner is determined by fair vote, not by a single member.

Using Google images is just an option for those who can't use a camera, or sketch, or are not particularly creative in other ways. It means nobody has to feel excluded. That's a good thing.

If there is a copyright problem, then admin will hear from the owner and the relevant image will be removed. In general, most photographers and artists realise that their images are shared on the internet, by default. They can already watermark and protect their images, if they are so inclined.

Worry not. We've got it all covered.

A woodsie tankard for us to drinkers the Honeymeads,
    Apples red as manfool’s blood,
Potions to restore the sneaksie’s flesh.

(Click the links above for bigger versions. I really hate how everything gets shrunk down in that collage)

    It's actually "linking", not "re-posting".

Why not try it out and enter? You'll see that you cannot upload any images directly, no data is stored on our servers at any time.

    Benny's new job:

"A refreshment, Mister Garrett? I'm in the possession of a superior brandy, that has the most 'restorative' effect."

    1. You can grab some food here, but don't let the servants see you!

Hey Hamadriyad and Master Taffer, you need to submit your images side-by-side, as in the example given.
An easy way to do this is follow the links in the rules thread:

I know, I will. I just didn't feel like it. Thanks for reminding though.
Edit: Wow, I don't know why the collage is soo huge! I don't know the solution, sorry.

I will have to do it, if you don't feel like it.

    Happy to help out.

    FYI. The rules thread

    http://forums.eidosgames.com/announc...php?f=269&a=63

includes info about how to resize images, and also links to an online collage-maker which is pretty easy to use and resizes automatically.

    Here you go:

I used this online collage maker:

Really easy to use. You just drag the images into the selected template of three images.
