You can already pre-order Thief 4 at play.com :lmao:

It's not called Thi4f. It's called Thief 4. Which is a good thing right?

And it already has a RRP of £24.99.

AND A RELEASE DATE!

The release date is supposedly March 26, 2010. Sounds too early to me.

Way too early. That's just a place holder date companies put into the computer to make pre-ordering games possible. They've been doing the same thing for Splinter Cell Conviction for 3 years now.

Indeed, way too early. I hope they don't keep on pushing Thief 4 back for 3 years though. :hmm:

I anticipate a three year development time. Assuming a few months of work has already been put into it, that puts it somewhere around late 2011/early 2012. And you've gotta expect that EM will begin accepting pre-orders about six months or so before the release date.

Aaaahhh so the things are becoming clear now!! http://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/ebil.gif They (play.com) are just bilkers! ahah I'm joking, I don't speak seriously... But... why pre-ordering the game if the game will come out within three years from now?

I believe EM has said they will be working with 24 month cycles, which means 2 years per game.

Don't know if that's enough or not - have practically no idea to be honest. I guess since they won't be creating an engine from scratch it should be enough time.

You're assuming too much.

This has already been proven bull*****. Two years after the announcement of Deus Ex 3, and they haven't shown a second of gameplay.
