Laptops are not good for gaming because laptop manufacters don't like releasing new drivers for their hardware, something that is required in modern gaming for modern gpus.

So it's usually an AT YOUR OWN RISK kind of thing. I wish manufacterers would bother to do it more, and they are, but not all around for all systems. This is why I can't find myself buying a laptop.

Sounds like it'll run on yours, and mine as well. I hope.

I have about £899 to spend on a new laptop, to be able to play Sims 3 etc so need dedicated graphics... I think, but stil need quite alot of space for microsoft word as i use that and keep alot of files. Anyone got any reccomendations? Was thinking of a Dell studio xps 16 laptop, Would this be sufficient?
