How awesome how you compare Batman: AA vs. the Batman Begins costume and claim its the TDK one. :P

Now the Batman: AA is more iconic and comic true, while the TDK works perfectly in the Nolan Universe. So both are just excelent for their own unique worlds and since im more of a comic fan ill go with Batman: AA costume.:rasp:

Have you even seen Dark Knight? Besides, you even spelled Gotham city wrong. And of course the suit was cumbersome, that was the whole reason for the new Dark Knight suit, flexibility, and more agility at the price of less protection.

I love the heavy armored costume, Batman doesn't need to turn his head, he hears his enemies!

http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/images/batsuit.jpgI see about ten differances in the costume. One being the dark knight is less bulky. TDK's suit also has bigger spacing in the armor for flexability. Those are only two difs.

I really don't like Batman's riot-gear type of suit in the Dark Knight. Doesn't look like Batman to me.

TDK costume is more believable. If I'm expecting to be shot at I think I'll go over with the suit made of cloth instead of a suit of amror type stuff. The comic suit I cna't say I like. Why would someone use cloth instead of something bullet proof, it doesn't make sense. Also there are many differences between BB and TDK costumes

I thought Batman's cape was bulletproof...?

Batman has padding/armor of some type in the AA suite as well. You can see by the rivets and separations in the chest, arm, and leg areas. He's had similar in the comics as well, so it's not always just cloth...

And to be fair, the Batman Begins costume was in the first 1/4th of The Dark Knight, until he upgraded. However, this upgrade to make the suit lighter and to be able to turn his head came at a price. The separations in the armor, the lighter padding, made him more easily susceptible to knife and blade penetrations (and teeth, so the whole can this stop dogs thing was out), not to mention bullets. So, SPOILER:

When he's stabbed twice, at least, by The Joker, then shot at the end by Two-Face, you know he's received all of it. Ouch...

I prefer this look of the AA one, though. It has the same functions The Dark Knight one was trying to make evident, but looks more iconic as Batman. Though, I love them both. The Dark Knight as a movie and, along with Batman Begins, adaptation of Batman to the big screen, is hard to top.

I like the video game costume better. But thats kinda biased because that picture is a billion times kooler than the other Batman Begins costume.
