I am making some paper art (i.e. flat sheets of paper) objects. And I wondered if it would be better for them to have depth or no depth. I can make them as a single face in Anim8or or as a really skinny cube. Which would be easier on the graphics engine?

Neither is harder on the engine. Adding some depth would add a few polygons, but that won't make a noticeable difference.

You've probably noticed that in Dromed you can resize objects, but you can't resize a 2D object. So I think whether or not you think you'll want to resize it is the more important question.

OK. Thanks. I didn't know if the engine would choke on the tiny polygon slivers if I gave it depth or choke on a 2D object. I can make it the exact size I need, so rescaling in DromEd is not an issue.

For his cobwebs, as I recall Vigil added a slight twist to them as opposed to simple thickness. FWIW.
