I find them all rather dull I'm afraid ...

I voted for the one that was most eye catching and didn't look stretched.

Supremelord (http://www.youtube.com/user/animalzila)

Lazy background - tiled should really only be used if it blends seemlessly.

No change of link colour on mouse over/hover.

No change of form properties (text box background colour/scrollbars, button).

Orange and red share nothing in common with background.

Marked down for username not being "SupremeLord" :p

In short, it doesn't go.

◄╣RazieL╠► (http://pl.youtube.com/user/raziel1551)

Very nice use of colour and alpha.

Marked down for having no change of link colour on hover (I wonder if this is a YouTube restriction?)

Also marked down for not tiling the background image properly. IMO it should be taken in to Photoshop and the cliffs extended so the image is wider to fit bigger screen resolutions. Either that, or it should be centered. Background image should have fixed scrolling.

Raziel's face is hidden. Again, image should be taken in to Photoshop and extended, so Raziel can at least partically visable over the user information box.

Points awarded for having the links underlined on mouse hover.

Bubi (http://www.youtube.com/user/bubi2337)

Marks down for background image. Like above, Kain's face is hidden.

Colour scheme is poor.

ReVa (http://youtube.com/user/Reva64)

Poor background image.

It's good, but at first I thought it was just Kain and the yellowness, until I scrolled down and saw a tiny bit of Raziel.

Marks down for having no action on hovering a mouse over a link.

I like the grey and the alpha, but it just doesn't go with the background image.

My vote goes to ◄╣RazieL╠►.

(All of the above is my personal opinion. I'm not a Graphic Designer.)

It's a common image as it was available on the Soul Reaver website for download, along with a few other promotional backgrounds.

vote ReVa. I like the dominant Kain theme, and the still in the video was the Kain image I seriously thought about getting in ink somewhere. Probably too complex for a tattoo, but it still makes for an awesome image. Wonder where they got that from? The only place I've ever seen it was in the BO2 credits.

They're all ok. Not sure which I like best. I am not sure if they can correct the tiling issue on YouTube? Anyone played around with their customization part to know? If they can't, which it wouldn't surprise me, maybe might want to go a bit lenient on them in that regard. Although I do agree that you have to change your images to line up in the tiling accordingly so they aren't obscured. Both Myspace and LiveJournal had me trying combo after combo to get around the layout covering up images. What's the use of an image that looks cool if it's underneath all of the site graphics?

Anyway, The Watcher, those promotional render pics of Kain I've seen in a few spots, a little varried also. I have one on another drive, I think, with Kain's scar added on... Can't find that at the moment and I am no longer sure where I got that one. I tried Omega's site but... Is your site down, Omega? LegacyofKain.net But, anyway, here's a link to these for you:

http://www.nosgoth.net/BO2/images/promo.html

You'll see Nosgoth.net got them from IGN, by the watermark.
