Hey,

I downloaded the Demo fine, but when it comes to the set-up after the download it comes up with the "rendering setup".

Everything LOOKED fine, as all the boxes where ticked etc.

But when i click okay it comes up with a error which says "Failed to initialize Direct3D with current settings".

Could anyone explain to me what i have to do to play the Demo without that coming up all the time?

Thanks, in advance.

Ryan ;)

it is proberly something whith your graphics... go here http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/eidos and select TRU on the list.

then you`ll know if your system can handle it. if it can it is something else.

good luck

Having the same problem and here is what it says

Download component info

* It can only be downloaded with your permission.
* Analysis of your computer requires it.
* No personally identifiable information is collected.
* Small download (will not take much time).
* Easily removed after analysis performed.
* If you are behind a firewall, you may not have permission to download browser components.
* Your browser's security settings must allow you to install ActiveX/Java Plug-in components.

so system requirements lab is safe to use. its letting you know it will install a small applet onto your computer to collect data it needs to compare your features.

safe to use and easy.

you could also maybe right-click on My Computer icon and do properties.
