I'd just like to say that the original Deus Ex was one of my favorite games of all time, I'm a big fan of the cyberpunk genre. Anyway, I was wondering if there were any plans to support Stereo3d rendering for the new Deus Ex? By Stereo3D (S3D) I mean by using stereoscopic display devices such as an HMD (VR920) or 3d capable monitor like the iz3D or Zalman Trimon. I think this would be a great feature to have for DE3 and could even be a selling point on the box!

The steps needed to make a game compatible with the Nvidia Stereo3D driver are not especially difficult. It would really only take maybe a week, if even that, for a talented team to ensure their game was supported.

Here is some developer info directly from nvidia:

I think a lot of fans would be very happy if this was an included feature, some people might buy the game just because of it. This is also the same demographic that already owns next-gen 3d displays and are exactly the same people that will be buying the game. It would be great to see Eidos pave the way for the future of 3d gaming.

I'm just glad if they correctly implement widescreen gaming (that is, widescreen resolutions with corrected 16:10 and 16:9 ARs). I don't see stereoscopic displays taking off in the near future, but isn't it always supported by third parties? You can hardly expect DX3 to support this natively (as there are a lot of stereoscopic devices) but some coders might come up with third party support.
