I was reading the PC Zone artical on this game, it sounds interesting.

Heh we both posted the wrong url - correct link added.

At least post the proper url...

Alpha Protocol - first look (http://www.gamesradar.com/pc/alpha-protocol/preview/alpha-protocol-first-look/a-20080422121024489075/g-20080313162151178085)

Wow...some of the screen shots look very Deus Ex; And there's a lot of comparison to Deus Ex in the preview.

I'm happy--the more DX style games the better. I just hope the Alpha Protocol developers include an FPS option for the PC version...

Another potential rival could possibly be Dave Braben's The Outsider.

Yeah it really stinks of DX to me. Like the idea of a lasting first impression, stuff like that. Even the name made me think "aquinas protocol"...

Looks fun.

Looks promising and if done right, a serious competitor. Let's hope Eidos doesn't make DX3 in anyway shape or form similar to DX:IW or this game might just be the spiritual successor to DX.

OOoooooo, hope I'm not getting myself too dragged in by a preview article (Been stung before by that, ala Unreal 2) here. There certainly aren't enough open hub games, where you'll have several hubs with missions at each hub and you can travel from one hub to another as you see fit.

Done right, this could do really well.
