A new chapter has been written for the NGLE Manual. This is the first of a two parter on animating textures, by Bedazzled. The power of the new game engine by Paolone is awesome. (Well, by awesome, I'm sure the Crystal boys and girls would have a laugh at that!)

May I ask if eventually all this data will be compiled into a PDF file as the one Elen did a long time ago with a number of tutorials? :)

Hi Treeble, the Manual is growing as folks get their heads around it. As we learn more, tutorials will be added. I've just been emailed an exciting update on rolling balls which means they can now by used as pushables simply by adding an OCB code. I've not tested it out yet but I do plan to write a rolling balls section shortly.

The problem with Elen's pdf version is that it's now out of date. These tutorials are being updated all the time and, unfortunately, unless any pdf manuals are also updated, their information loses value. It was with great reluctance that I removed Elen's tutorials manual from the downloads section at Skribblerz but it became necessary because quite a few changes had been made to some of the tutorials.

An exciting update is available. Rolling balls can now be pushed, they will kill baddies and they can shatter objects. Additionally, new physics have been built to better simulate water effects as Rolling balls splash into water rooms and move around in them.
