POSSIBLE PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS

Problem: The game CRASH when i try to start it (it doesn't even start).

Possible Solution 1: Uninstall the "Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable" (use Add/Remove Programs), then Download and Install the LATEST Live Redist (http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Support/live/Pages/default.aspx), after Install RESTART the System.

Possible Solution 2: EXIT Kaspersky Anit-Virus/Internet Security (Kaspersky has known compatibility problems with some games).

Possible Solution 3: Some users are reporting that DISABLING/UNINSTALLING Stardock WindowBlinds should help the game from Crashing.

----

Problem: The game CRASHES when i'm playing it.

Possible Solution 1: Download the LATEST OpenAL driver (http://developer.creative.com/articles/article.asp?cat=1&sbcat=31&top=38&aid=46), go to Options and in the Sound Options choose the default device to GENERIC SOFTWARE.

Possible Solution 2: Same as in the steps above of the problem above.

Possible Solution 3: Uninstall the "Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable" (use Add/Remove Programs), then Download and Install the LATEST Live Redist (http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Support/live/Pages/default.aspx), after Install RESTART the System.

----

Problem: The game is slow and/or the sound have problems sometimes.

Possible Solution 1: Reduce the Video Effects, like Shaders and Shadows, Disable Music.

Possible Solution 2: CLOSE any Real-Time protection program, like Anti Virus/Spyware etc.

Possible Solution 3: Go to the Sound Options and select OpenAL or DirectSound (XP Only) instead of Generic Software.

----

Problem: The game stops responding (and maybe crash to desktop).

Possible Solution 1: For users with Audigy cards Download the Modified X-Fi drivers for Audigy Cards (http://www.neowin.net/news/software/07/11/07/vista-audigy-2150004-modded-drivers) (Vista ONLY).

Possible Solution 2: If you overclocked any component of your computer reset the default values.

Possible Solution 3: Make sure your computer are not at very High temperatures.

Possible Solution 4: CLOSE any Real-Time protection program, like Anti Virus/Spyware etc.

I will update this (if i have time and if I remember) when I find new workarounds, or new Drivers where released.
