View Full Version : Vista 64 and some problems with securom

21st Oct 2007, 23:09

I just upgraded my Machine to the specs in my sig.
I used to run Just Cause on my old machine
Windows XP, Athlon XP 3000+, Geforce 7600GT, 1,25GB RAM and had absluteley no problems with the Game, 2 sudden crashes but besides of that the game was fine, no stutering nothing.
Now I have the new machine with Vista 64.
The installation went's fine...
But here the problems start. Wen I try to start the game, I get the Securom message to put in the original DVD.
-- I had the same with Rainbow 6 Vegas, but after the upgrade to the latest version, the problem was gone.
but for Just Cause there is no patch or upgrade, so I have to use a patched exe file to even get it run.
And here I get the problems which are described already in other threads, so I have this strange shadow arround me and the game has actually performance issues, it is stuttering :mad2: :mad2:

Is there anyone with Vista 64 who can run the came with the official exe?
