Was seeing if anyone had mentioned any comments pertaining to the upcoming movie "Hitman" but looks like I get to be the first poster.

Well I honestly cannot wait. I now have a countdown on my desktop via Windows Vista, about 52 days left til it hits theatres; I hope.

I usually tell my friends: "I think going to the theatres is a waste of money"; it costs 7.50 per person, then if you decide to buy any refreshments, theres about 6-7 dollars per person so youre roughly spending money as if you were buying the DVD BUT I'm putting my foot down on this one; this is a HAVE TO SEE hehe.

They are thinking of making more movies based off of computer games, well thats in production I mean; so there might be 1 or 2 more in which I'll spend money to go see in theatres :)

Anyways I hope the upcoming movie doesnt KILL of the Hitman series thu gaming; I know I for one, regardless if the movie is bad or not I will still buy the Hitman games; keep em rolling :)

PS Heres a link that shows more movies in production/rumors based off of games.

The film was GOING to be amazing, but now I'm not so sure.

[...]After being hired to shoot an adaptation of the ultra-violent video game Gens took Asian action films such as The Killer and A Bittersweet Life as his starting point and turned in an explicitly violent, very bloody cut of the film that apparently included a number of head shots and extreme gore moments that would have guaranteed the film a hard R rating. Which really shouldn’t have been any sort of surprise if the studio execs had been paying any attention at all - it’s not like they wouldn’t have seen the dailies or effects work ahead of time - but apparently after seeing Gens’ cut of the film the studio removed him from the project and placed Nicolas De Toth in control of a new edit of the film.
[...]So what are we going to get? A bloodless version of the film assembled with no input whatsoever from Gens. Very sad considering just how promising the trailers have been so far.

I've seen the movie and to be honest I'm not sure what to make of it.
A lot of people like on movie reviews have said it far from great but then again they haven't played the game.
I like how they added elements from the game in to the movie like two people player one of the Hitman games (I think) but only see it for a second or so.
I think movie is missing some elements as at the beginning you see Agent 47 when he was younger and being taught how to become a hitman etc but that's all you get and something about "the organizations." (kind of like the tv series Dark Angel.)
so it needs to add more depth about Agent 47's past and I think to make him more of a darker shifter character.

The one thing that seem unrealistic in the movie was assuming that events would work in his favor which is far from reality as no one can predict the future.
There is a part where Agent 47 is sitting in a restaurant with the Russian woman and a few tables across is sitting agent 47's target,
A waiter walks pass so Agent 47 grabs a drinks from the waiter's tray.
The waiter says that the drink is for someone so Agent 47 hands back the drink and says sorry.
Now the drink is spiked the person who drinks it becomes sick so with his security team is escorted to the bathroom.
Agent 47 makes his way to the bathroom to go in the right cubical next to the left cubical where Hitman's target is puking up.
In the right cubical A 47 pulls out a gun & prison syringe and kills his target.
Now even with an out of order sign placed on the right cubical many factors can happen- whats to stop Agent 47's target from going in to the right cubical so therefore messing up his plan.

The best part I like was seeing a Mi 24 gunship but it's stay wasn't for long unfortunate & getting to see a FN P90 smg as I also like Stargate Atlantis & SG -1.

I've played Hitman :Blood Money several times over.
