INTROIntroduction

Welcome to the semi-official known bugs list for Square-enix/Psyonix there game called NOSGOTH.
This topic is maintained by the CommunityEditors team existing of Strike and Hirukaru. This does not mean we could have done this with out the whole community. For this fact in all the post there is a Credit chapter in all the posts.
A little disclaimer is in place here that the CommunityEditors account has no moderating rights.

We made this topic because the CommunityEditors team wants to help the NOSGOTH Dev team to find the reported bugs in an easy way without them have to search for it. Of course we also do this for all the players that want to report a bug and first want to know if a bug has been reported before.

Wall Collision system is not working perfectly. Scout

Scout sometimes fail to be able to shoot with the charged shot

Some players are having trouble with rapid fire and charging with the mouse buttons.

Alchemist

Reaver pounces through environment and freezes characters(sometimes both reaver and target) to unfreeze the pounce has to be canceled)

When clicking on the the Loadout button a second before the countdown finishes, the game loads your previous loadout, but also displays the Loadout screen to change class over the top of it. Confirmed by Corey, this is due to the fact that scout and sentinel are now locked classes


For languages other than English, the in-game font doesn't support accented letters.

When a player dies by suicide, sometimes it counts as an enemy's kill.

Even though a team has higher kill totals in some matches, they can still wind up labeled the loser. This appears to happen if the winner in round 2 has the same amount or higher than the opposite team's kills in the first round.

This where mostly forced reconnection because lobbies could not be found, or could not connect to friends game

This issue can also occur when minimizing to taskbar
When the game starts, the camera occasionally fixes to one spot and players can't play because of it.

- Runestones allow you to purchase exclusive content like premium skins for classes, XP and Gold boosters, and Keys to open locked Chests

New Game Mode - “Siege”
- Siege is now available for players Rank 10 and above

Leveling Rewards
- You will now earn unlocks at specific overall ranks and class levels
- At ranks 5, 10, 15, and 20 you will earn a “Class Unlock Artifact” that grants you access to a single locked character class. New classes will be locked by default but can be unlocked with an Artifact, Gold, or Gems. Scout and Sentinel will be locked for new players but not Alpha veterans.
- Future customization systems will be unlocked via leveling, such as selectable badges (for reaching certain ranks or class levels) that appear in the matchmaking lobby behind your name. Alpha testers will receive an Alpha-only badge shortly after beta launches.

Skin Updates
- All of the character skins have had their textures rebalanced around a new shader. They have less rim lighting, metals look more metal-y, and skin looks more…. skin-y.
- Some premium skins have had their colors reworked to add more variety to the existing line-up
- As community requested, the warpaint of Clan Dumahim (Reavers) have been varied as a display of their commitment to the war for Nosgoth

- Kidnap and Abduct now have a warmup and ending animation. A charge bar will fill during the warmup animation and you can only Kidnap/Abduct a player when the bar is full. You cannot drop from the sky or use abilities during the ending animation.
Flight
- Air dodge no longer impairs your forward flight speed, and its camera has been improved

Matchmaking
- When searching, the game will initially attempt to match you into a lobby of similar Rank to yours. If no acceptable games can be found, it will put you in the best match available.
- Player Skill Ranking is coming soon and will replace overall Rank for matchmaking purposes

- Greatly increased performance on all maps on slower hardware on “Low” and “Medium” settings
- Players who wish to uncap their framerate may now do so, but the option is not yet exposed in the UI. You can edit BCMPUserProfile.ini and add “MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120.00” to set your maximum FPS to 120. Values up to 250 are currently accepted. VSync must be disabled in-game for this to have any effect. This is not officially supported. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Thought i'd mention this. Just played a match in sommerdam and a sentinel picked me up on a pier and it force dropped me on the rope hand rail thing. i stayed in a perpetual falling animation but was still alive and able to attack. I could not move however which made me rather easy prey for the vamps. Thought I'd mention it.

Problem with changing perk...at least when selecting sentinel. I select a different perk during the game in the load out screen and it disables the play button. Seems as though I can change the perk back and it allows me to play with sentinel again but could get frustrating if you pick the wrong perk or if you tend to switch a lot in game.

This is possibly because the perk you've selected has expired so won't allow you to continue until you've either selected one with some time remaining or the daily perk.

i got disconnects in the 2nd round of multiple matches.... that sad because i dont get nothing but played minimum 15 minutes... happends already 3-4 times....

You guys have been really on the ball with answering all these questions so thank you very much. I do have two things still off I've been meaning to ask about. 1) if I let the company logos and the game load up without hitting escape to skip to the main menu it just shows the a cinematic background with leaves, trees, smoke, etc. and never lets me see the store or home or anything. 2) seems as though I cannot see the chat boxes from steam when I'm in game. I tried shift+tab and doesn't appear to work. I run it through steam and that's the only reason I noticed since I have people try to chat through steam on and off. Again though, Thank you guys so much for assists it is really nice to get such quick and accurate responses when there is an issue. Also, BEEST GAAAMME EVVERRR!!!

Sometimes when I look at the score right after dying, my death doesn't count on my personal stats, even though it does on the overall score, and it doesn't updates correctly for the rest of the round.

Also, there's a lower volume version of the old buzzing sound glitch in Freeport. Right in the same place, too.

Bugs I have encountered frequently

There is a sound issue when I am dropped into matches well under way. Its like lingering sound effects such as the turret and only in certain areas of the map; probably where the original sound occurred. It use to happen from time to time but now it seems like everytime.

Knives vs Sentinel, I don't know if knives are no longer suppose to stop a sentinel swooping in to grab but they did back in alpha, part of beta and now they don't. Is that a glitch or a permanent change?

Nosgoth crashing, it happens from time to time and I know its not just happening to me because some players make it back to the match saying something like, "Damn crashes"

Hackers, in truth they are few, only seen between 3-5 since I started back in November, but they are noticed. They are always gonna exist, I get that, but it started with speed and now its auto aim as well, plus I can't be certain but I think there is one for fire/attack rate as well, when combined utterly ruins the match.

Is it really fixed? Yesterday my savage pounce had still 30 days left, and one of acquired alchemist cannons, too. Probably some other items - I just don't remember them all. I received these items more than 3 weeks ago.The only temporary items in my inventory with working timer are those with 24 hours.

Also, I'm not sure if this was reported or not - I looked but didn't find anything similar - AND it could be just my mistake, but I'm pretty sure in my latest match I got more kills than were displayed in the match results. There were displayed 3 kills, but I remember scoring at least 5 or 6. Again, there is a chance I was mistaken, but right now I'm pretty sure I wasn't. Will count my kills closely starting from the next match.

If you're talking about those green or blue weapons/abilites you got from chests, I think I read somewhere that the counters for them are not real days, but days spent in matches. To clarify this a bit more, when you go to your Profile in the game, you should see "Time played". So I guess days for these items are based on that time spent playing. So yeah, they last a long time if that's the case.

I can't confirm this because i have 23 hours at the moment, but when I find time I will play a few matches and then check status of items I got in chests from founder's packs.

The thing you talk about, they get active from the moment you first use them.

This list is pretty out dated atm, cause I am one of the few that works on it.
Cause I am abroad, I find it hard to use my laptop to update it. (Dont have a mouse with me atm)

I want to ask you guys to create a post for bug reports though. This is only a sum up from bugs known by the community (you guys) and known by the devs (uuhm the other guys)

Okay, so, me and some friends have tested this, and it seems that prophet's Life Leech instantly makes Sentinels drop anyone they're carrying, as well as making deceivers visible after they use Phaze.
