Eidos Interactive, one of the world’s leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, is pleased to announce that their eagerly anticipated new franchise, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, from the award-winning makers of the Hitman series, IO Interactive, will be released for PlayStation 3.

“The PlayStation 3 version of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will allow all next-generation gamers to savour the cinematic action and high-definition visuals of the game,” said Darren Barnett, Development Director, Eidos Interactive. “Kane & Lynch sets a new standard for mature games and we’re pleased to be extending the experience to the PS3 consumers as well as Xbox 360 and PC gamers.”

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a dark and gritty drama featuring two men, one is a flawed mercenary and the other a medicated psychopath. Forced together on a violent and chaotic path of redemption and revenge, no action is considered too severe as this volatile partnership is pushed beyond reason in this brutally realistic, character-driven third person action shooter.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC Games For Windows.

Didn't know about this game until I stumbled upon the PS3 announcement on a game news site, but this looks highly interesting (nice trailer!). I hope we will see more news about the title in a not too distant future, cause it seems like there has been no news or anything since august last year, excluding the PS3 annoucement.
