Hey all,

I have been a major fan of Eidos for years, having quite a few games bought over the years for ps2 and also for PC. I even rebought thief deadly shadows last week on Steam because I haven't played it for years - that's how much I love you guys.

So today I went and got a copy of Just Cause, Installed it, and was very excited.. then I loaded the game and went New Game.. the thing loaded.. saw a guy flying for about 5 seconds and suddenly it CRASHED! :mad2:

I tried the following:
- Updating Sound/Video and Updating Windows XP
- Removing "JustCause.cpd"
- Removing codecs
- Installing this (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=592307&postcount=8) and this (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=594614&postcount=18)
- Beating my head against the desk multiple times while Windows does ANOTHER reboot.
- Even tried downloading the demo (had some dinner while it downloaded, it took 20 minutes) and still no love.

Any help would be appreciated..

Did you try re-installing the game?
