I made this, considering what these images gave to me:
It's not exact, but it's sort of this! The Valley and the pillar walking thing, couldn't see where they were, but maybe they're the continuation or before the waterfall and the gate!

you have a lot of time on your hands, don't you?;)

it's pretty good, I can't remember where everything was in TR1, I can't wait to see what it looks like in Anniversary!

Your effort is great but don't put large size pic
directly on posting-body. PLZ. All of page is distortion.
You can just using URL (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/rahkshimaster/MOCs/lost_valley.jpg). Actually, 2D map is meaningless on TR.
You can find a way along this this map (http://www.copythat.pe.kr/images/tombraider/exp_02.jpg)?

OhWow~ :nut:

Anyway you've done very nice job with pics. Many guy giving a map
for TR serise but its were not very useful this 2D (http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/3209/mansionmaps9bb10sz.jpg) sometime. Rather 3D map or
"bird-eye" map showing location pic is fair. Or explaining specializtion of location
is better in TR. e.g. (1)Wolf-3 meeting-(2)The big-GATE-(3)The bridges... etc.
So In nowday, whole VIDEOs user-guide is better too~ like this (http://dory.mncast.com/mncHMovie.swf?movieID=10020925720070123023158&skinNum=1).
Finally, we are in age of no-need map for TR. hehe~ :nut:

Actually Piggyback did a great work on mapping out Legend, and how can you say that map isn't useful? You can even see the couches on the ground floor!

hmmm... How can I explain... Not useful... meaning that there will be able
to broken(?) section in sometime "Level-editor" in TR. TR location is not 100%
same like our real ground situation. It's very difficult to explain by talking... e.g.
You can drawing map of Indonesia in TR_03? It's very difficult and if it is
possible, not-useful very much. Rather location specialization explain is
very useful... e.g. (1)Very-big-black tree...(2)Native black man meeting...
(3)Crystal-in-right... etc. This is "check-point" system in TRL. Location
mapping is very small and short. No need to drawing a map. Why? each
section divide by "check-point" system. So many guy providing a map for
this TR_01, 02, 03... I didn't find right way with those maps at that time.

Anyway that guy have done good job.(with pics)
If there was no any pics with map. That map
for TR is Less useful than ligustic-explains.
And new trending is VIDEO map like GPS naviagion. ;)

Map looks fine to me, missed a few exits but what is there looks good, most maps are 2D and yet still usefull, so l have no idea what barabora is going on about there. Since none of us have played it yet none of the other ideas he brought up could be used at this point

 You are gifted for maps, I appreciate your work. This aptitude alone or linked with another of you that I don't know might prove very usefull in the military or some industrial field. I resized and reworked it a little bit in photoshop and it appeared to me that you could do very interesting "clues" maps usable as visual walktroughs that would be "spoilproofed" if the pics are replace by numbers listed as web links in an associated chart.

Carefully designing it in a size that fit the screen whitout having to scroll up&down is easier to catch in my humble opinion. Another thing would be that members of the forum could upload screenshots they took during the game as clues we could refer without having to be spoiled by a text.

I don't know what graphic editor you use but I know you know how to do a map and it's a peanut for me to resize, process images etc. The 3D problem is not really an issue. We relied on 2D representations for thousand years (every human understand most of what "cavemen" were telling on their walls) and until computers could process 3D graphics we implemented many ways of representing reality. We have internet, we have ways to store and edit material, we obviously have some time to spare and we have an international forum. Of course we would need recruiting some kind of team. We might encounter some logistic problems but I'm sure there is lot's of talented people amongst us that could contribute to this insane idea.:lmao:
So far... are we in business?
