I have a hunch it's the MX440, most newer games don't care for the MX series, not sure what it is probably lack of pixel shader support. Check the box, many times the sys requirements description goes out of it's way to exclude the MX cards. On the plus side the rest of your system is more then adequate and you can pick up an ATI9800, FX6200 or even a lowly FX5500 on the cheap and it will work decent.

can't go too far wrong with Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/). If you've got very little cash and like to gamble theirs always fleaBay.

I have a feeling your motherboard is only going to have an AGP slot, and not a PCI-E slot, which will limit the cards you can use.

BFG 7800 That's all you need for now. Oh, what's your power supply? I think you need a minimum of 400W.
