I think that depends on what region you're in. UK gets it Feb 9th:

Eidos Interactive, one of the world’s leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today confirms that the highly anticipated Battlestations: Midway will be released on 9th February, 2007 on Xbox 360 and PC.

Battlestations: Midway brings to life the epic naval battles of World War II from Pearl Harbour to the Battle of Midway itself. Featuring an innovative blend of action and real-time strategy gameplay, players can instantly switch between every vehicle under their command throughout the course of any battle.

“Battlestations: Midway has definitely been worth the wait. It will offer players a genuinely new gameplay experience in the single player campaign and the online multiplayer will give PC and 360 gamers something totally unique to sink their teeth into” said Matt Russell, Brand Manager.

The single player mode features 11 large-scale campaigns with 12 bonus challenge missions, while the online multi-player combat offers an entirely new online battle experience with head-to-head and co-operative style gameplay with battles boasting over 100 units.

2007 marks the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Midway, the single most decisive naval battle in US history, which served as a turning point of World War II.

Battlestations Midway will be released on 9th February on Xbox 360 and PC.

Ah yeah! You're right. This is the press release from Eidos for the North American version:

Eidos Interactive Ltd., one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, part of SCi Entertainment Group Plc (SEG), today announced that Battlestations: Midway, the large-scale Pacific war video game, will be released in North America on January 30, 2007. The game will be available on the Xbox 360 (TM) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows.

Battlestations: Midway immerses players in massive air, sea, and undersea battles comprising key historical locations such as Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, Java, the Coral Sea and the infamous Midway Atoll, scene of the historic Battle of Midway. Offering the opportunity to experience some of the major battles of World War II, players command massive fleet attacks and take direct, real-time, control of every plane, battleship, and submarine.

The game features an impressive storyline evoking historical events and a diverse single player mode which takes you through the first critical months of the war and includes ten large-scale campaigns and 11 bonus challenge missions from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the Battle of Midway.

In addition, online multi-player combat offers an entirely new online battle experience and features head-to-head and co-operative fleet battles featuring over 60 Allied and Japanese units. Players can team up for huge multi-unit online battles involving over 100 units with eight players (up to four on each side). The game also offers the power to command over 40 warships and 24 different types of World War II planes.

"Battlestations: Midway evokes some of the most dramatic events in US naval history and delivers a huge scale naval and aerial battle experience for gamers and enthusiasts," said Robert Lindsey, Executive Vice President of sales and marketing, Eidos. "The year 2007 also marks the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Midway and we are proud to mark this significant occasion by bringing these events into the modern day in a cutting edge and powerful gaming context."

Battlestations: Midway is developed by Eidos Studios, Hungary and will be released to North American stores on January 30, 2007.
