It seems that there will be a special assortment with an exclusive version of the upcoming Lara Croft action figure (4 normal Laras, 2 exclusive).

As if I do not spend enough money.

I never expected NECA to present TR figs from Legend. I dunno why....

But that is reallllllly well done!

(But where are her holsters?)

My only complain is that her shirt is too short, but she looks pretty cool nevertheless. (Though having six of them displaying virtually the same position is overkill, but oh well, I don't care. :p)

Any idea when these are out in the UK?

According to NECAOnline (http://www.necaonline.com/series/detail/79) the release is next month.

And also, apparently the God Save the Queen variant (http://www.necaonline.com/article/detail/47) is UK ONLY! *freaks out*

And we haven't forgotten you variant hunters. For our friends in the UK we'll be packing a special UK Exclusive Variant - "God Save the Queen" Lara Croft.

Please someone point me to a reliable shop with worldwide delivery!

That same page also shows the boxart: :D Very nice, pity these are so small. I particularly like the composite. :D

I purchased the normal Lara Croft figure from Legend off eBay the instant I just-for-the-heck-of-it searched for it minutes after completing the game last month. She is a display only figure. (It says ages 17+ on the side, LOL) Her legs don't move, she has limited articulation in her arms which makes it unable to hold the MP5 and shotgun correctly. She also comes with, of course, her pistols, display stand, and, neatest of all, Excalibur. It truly is quite a work of art.

But I haven't seen anything about other renditions besides the "God Save the Queen" one. This figure is part of a 3 figure line that includes Kain and Hitman from their respective Eidos video games, so perhaps that's where the confusion lies with there being more variants of this figure?

so there are more than 2? I saw only 2 on ebay: legend and legend with british flag, can someone please post pics of other versions?
to be honest I like Atlas figures better in terms of Lara's face

I'd just like to register my disappointment by copying and pasting this message I've posted on another boards where most of buyers are just as discontent.

I've always heard good things about Neca, but seriously, give me Playmates (like the old fashioned game figures) any day over this.

Mine's just arrived. Let me start by saying... YUCK. I think it's the most expensive figurine (damned importing fees) I've bought so far and it really leaves a lot to be desired when you compare to the fabulous Playmates (game) series or the Atlas collection. I even had to cut through her fingers to be able to have her holding the guns properly.

She's hidden in the back of my Playmates movie Lara's, lol, and even so I'll try and hunt down the UK variant. If someone can help me out I'd appreciate, I don't mind paying for the figure + P&P, but these importing fees kill me and apparently they only tax what's got an invoice. They didn't even open the package to determine how much I'd have to pay!

Other than that, I'll just echo what others have said. She fell of the ugly tree, climbed back up, jumped down, swam in the ugly fountain and probably drowned in there, too.

That being all said, I'm still after as many variants they come to make. Hopefully they'll get better.
