I guess.
But is it that important?

I like it so I'd want it back, yes. But as Headache says, it's not quite an important thing... I mean, let's all focus on her hair instead.

Yeah, that's what this topic (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=62975) is for, afterall! But you gotta agree, take away Lara's PDA and she'll still be Lara. Now change Lara's hair and... *OMG shock horror*!

Well, PDA is not very important in the game. But at least it keeps some useful info - time spent on the level, secrets found. In previous "TRs" Lara had a stopwatch, which had the same functions.

So in the next one she'll have a cybernetic implant to top those?

I never really used the PDA, other than to check my reward pick-up count for whichever level I was in. Once I get them all, I never use the PDA. It just doesn't have anything that I've personally needed it to keep track of for me.

I didn't use the PDA much either. The secret count was good though. Maybe it could have more features, although I don't know what.

Erm, it could have Lara's address book in!

And the number of a decent haird-- sorry :o

Star...

But I never used the PDA in my life.

I don't care much for the PDA, since I never used it.
however, it could be nice to get more detailed statistics [a-la classic TRs] at the end of each level. the PDA could fit there :p

I think they should bring back the old menu, then the PDA would fit in perfectl...

this is how...

in the old games when you press escape (console=start) u get the inventory an you scroll through them sideways/circular
and when you press down u get the options:
memcards/floppys - save , load
stopwatch - statistics, trial times
headphones - sound setup
gameboything - graphics setup

memcards/hardrives - save , load
PDA - statistics, trial times
MP3 player - sound setup
PDA with settings
pic on screen - graphics setup

It exists. That's enough for some here...

Y'know, ditom, it wasn't really necessary to start yet another thread about Lara's hair. There are plenty to be found.

Communication is an art, and apparently I'm not a very good artist.

Never mind, ditom. There was already at least one other recent thread about Lara's hair, so, in my opinion, it seemed unnecessary to start another. You go ahead and start whatever threads you wish. I'm sure you'll be rewarded with lots of hair tidbits of info.

I think we should just not speak of the 'h' word again.... :D

Sorry, Headache. I think I'll just be quiet about it from now on :rasp:

Um yes, back on topic. PDA. It's waterproof!

Um yes, back on topic. PDA. It's waterproof!

As much as the rest of Lara's equipment. You know, it's funny: throughout all the "TR" games water never gunked up the guns. In real life, if you plunge the gun into the water, you'll have to disassemble it, dry it and clean it. Or else it's useless.
