The red carpet is being rolled out at London's Roundhouse tonight as the winners of this year's British Academy Video Games Awards are announced.

Vernon Kay will host the event, with fellow TV presenters Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Iain Lee, Dave Berry and Angelica Bell set to give out awards.

Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes will also attend, along with Lord of the Rings star Andy Serkis, impressionist John Culshaw, actor Colin Salmon and DJ Paul Gambaccini.

From the world of videogames will come Lara Croft model Karima Adebibe, plus Mario, Sonic and a group of Star Wars stormtroopers.

Quirky titles such as We Love Katamari, Guitar Hero and Brain Training will be battling it out for Best Game award alongside Hitman: Blood Money, Lego Star Wars II and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. GRAW has received eight nominations in total, as has PSP title Loco Roco - click here for the full list.

Legend won for best score!

If you want you can congratulate Troels Folmann (the man behind the score ;)), you can add a comment to his blog here (http://www.deffmute.com/blog/).

Aside: 1000th post, and how appropriate. ;)

Although it may not be the bet Tomb Raider score, it is still very unique I must admit:D I'll definently leave a comment there.
