Awwwwwwwww! :(

You got me all excited then, I thought you meant a new range of action figures was out.

I want an AOD one to go alongside my South Pacific Lara... Too bad no such thing exists!!!

There are some resin figures based on all games, including AOD and Legend (an ongoing 'recent' French collection), and an AOD statuette, don't think there has been a proper action figure based on AOD though.

You sure? I had a real good look for all kinds of AoD figurines, but didn't find. I found the satatue... But £2,000 and finding a place to put her, maybe not!

Wouldn't have a clue WHERE to put her actually, my rooms too full of junk already, I sleep in a closet! :nut:

I didn't mean the lifesize statue, though I'm dying to get myself at least one (ok, I'll admit I want to have them all), there was a 40cm statuette version, too. It's not poseable, though. I have no pic atm, later on at night I'll get you one.

Then there's the ongoing Atlas collection from France, these are 15cm tall (same size as the 6" Playmates action figures, just not poseable) and feature a lot of outfits in rather known poses. Have a look through the collection here:

TRO-Online through Google Tools. (http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=pt-BR&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&langpair=fr%7Cen&u=http://www.tro-online.com/forums/viewtopic_6623.html&prev=/language_tools)

A new issue with a new figure is released every 2 weeks in France. It's currently at number 25, original plans were of 61 figures plus a number of special exclusives for subscribers in France, such as rather large dioramas in memorable scenes from the games (Lara vs T-Rex, Lara vs Dragon, the quadbike, the bike with sidecar, the statue in Chronicles, the death of Von Croy... maybe a Legend one will be made, eventually, too.) :)

Sorry to disappoint, RebeL_fARmeR...

Yaay! Bikini Lara!

This Atlas Edition thing is interesting, I'd love to buy some of them. Can you order them online somewhere? My French isn't up to snuff, and babelfish can only get you that far...

@Olgerth

Yup, you can order them via this French estore. My French is non-existant, but I've succesfully purchased twice from them and got the figures delivered on two weeks. I have recently ordered a third lot of figures, but the Brazilian customs have gone on strike and I'd suspect my figures are stuck in there. :( Whenever they'll get back to work and whenever I'll receive new reasons to keep breathing is a story left untold. :(

Anyway, have a look. :)

The new dolls are awesome John! Have you considered designing a doll for every outfit in every game? It can be a lot of work, but you could make an amazing poster with them.

That sounds like a cool idea! It's very tedious work, but the results make it all worth it. I'm going to finish up the rest of the Legend outfits first and then start working on Lara's past outfits. :nut: :D

It's a default Windows application.

To get MS Paint, if you have Windows just go START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > PAINT

Maximum grooviness! I wanna move to France now.
I just wish they'd bring out a huge series of AOD and Legend figures (with bendy arms and stuff), they rock.

Don't get me wrong though, Johnny, those piccys you did were pretty cool! I'll take 2... Oh wait...

I used parts from pre-made dollz I found on the internet to form a base model. Then I edited where appropriate and made the outfits from scratch using the pencil tool. :)
