Who already watch Ruby movies or has an ATI card knows that the Ruby engine has a much more quality, details, speed...

Any body knows what is the secret?

Ruby appears in a movie sequence whilst Lara appears in realtime. Guess you know which is the better quality then ;)

ATI can use the complete graphic engine and cpu/graphic power for Ruby. 3rd person games like Tomb Raider have to take care of some tiny little details like enviroment (Levels), opponents, AI, controls and such.

That is also why you can not compare the level quality of 1st and 3rd person games. Although some little knowing people still do that. "Why do the levels in[pick any recent FPS] look so much better than the Tomb Raider levels?" ... Because in Tomb Raider 50% of the graphic engine is used for Lara.

No it's not. It's rendered realtime. :rasp:

The reason why it works so well is cos (like the nVidia demos) it's designed to showcase the product so ofcourse it's gonna look good and run fast.

There's a lot more involved in stepping up to a game.
