Ok it runs on the first XBox but not on a geforce 4 ti series?
Strange considering the Xbox is a DX8 machine.
This should be easily geforce 3&4 TI ready.
I can see no MX or geforce 2 support due to no shader support.

This is purely a guess, but I think it was to limit the amount of work that had to be done. When making the game for the Xbox, they knew exactly what hardware they were going to be working with, as all of them have the same processor, the same video card and the same memory. That's not the case with a PC, so they have to provide multiple solutions that work with all of them. Needless to say, there's quite a difference between the capabilities of a video card that has 128 megs of onboard memory and runs Shader Model 1.1 and one with 512 megs of onboard memory that runs Shader Model 3.0. This isn't even counting AMD versus Intel processor considerations, 256 meg to 4 gig memory capacity configurations, and all the different possible sound cards out there. By limiting the PC version to Shader Model 2 only, they limit the amount of work they had to do. I don't like the idea, but I do understand it.
