View Full Version : Trying to run the demo on GMA915

I'm trying to run the Blood Money demo on a laptop with Intel GMA915 graphics card. This card supports 2.0 shaders, but it doesn't support hw t&l, so I have to run the game through 3D Analyze. It works, but there are missing textures and game looks like this:

The framerate is also very bad, around 2fps. Of course, I have installed newest drivers and DirectX. I tried diffrent "shaderquality" ini settings, but without success. Does anyone know the solution? Here are my specs:

Pentium M 1.8 GHz
512mb RAM

BTW, I can play Oblivion (not Oldblivion!) comfortably, with enabled shaders effects, through 3D Analyze as well.

You're crazy for even trying. :p

Tried Counter-strike Source on my laptop with same graphics card. Pointless. 0.1 fps at lowest resolution (640*480 i think) and lowest settings.

Btw; Performance of Hitman BM sucks compared to Half-Life 2 too. :(

I don't think so :p As I wrote, I am able to play Oblivion comfortably. I've also tried Race Driver 3 on highest details (but low res) with very playable framerate, so I thought BM would work at least on lowest settings... Hopefully, some future driver release will solve the problem ;)
