Ehh....no thanks. I've got better things to do with that much time. I'd just wait for a less time-intensive way to get a peek. At least the thing is generating a good deal of interest - more than I thought it would.

Also known as the Nintendo Revolution, until they changed the name.

I'll be getting one though, looks an interesting console with an even more interesting controller.

I find the whole name change and controller a bad gimmick as they had no chance of creating an actual console in line with the 360 or PS3. Waste of time.

Nintendo have never gone with the mainstream "omg look at the pwetty graphics!11!!eleven" - yet in Japan the DS and even the GameCube continue to out-sell the Hex-Box2.

Whilst they're games may not be the best looking around - the storylines and plots and basic gameplay far outweighs anything the Hex-Box 1/2, or even PS2/3 has to offer (and that's saying something coming from a die hard Sony fan).

The controller is shear genius; nobody had a bad word to say about it at E3, even the heads of PS3 and Hex-Box2 suggested buying a Wii!

It will bring a whole new reailty to tennis, golf, FPS, and basically every other genre because it's so unique.

That, and the fact that you can play any past Nintendo game on it...

I'm aware of it's originality, i'm aware of the games interesting natures but at the same time everything about the Wii reeks of a marketting ploy. I don't deny what they've done with it is interesting but it's simply interesting in a "OMGROFL! A CONTROLLER THAT READS MOVEMENT! HOW CUTTING EDGE!!! HOW UNIQUE!" When really the idea behind it is simply a gimmik to give something the other systems don't have. A console is for playing game's. If it can't do that effectivly (not just but including good graphic's) then it's just not worth it. The Wii goes out of the way to be different because it's not really a dedicated games console in any real sense. I'm not against Nintendo, i liked the Gamecube more than the original Xbox but the Gamecube was at least a real attempt to make a games console. Not a system who's selling power is based entirely on something that will get boring pretty fast.
