Hey guys, after a few weeks of up's and down's I have decided to return. Hopefully things will be ok with some personal stuff I took care of. During my free time I made a slew of mods, some might say it's as if I never left to begin with lol.

Update: I've released a 2nd version of my US army 1812 mod, it fixes some bugs ive found and adds two new units. (militia) light infantry and dragoons.

It looks amazing m8, I know it gets boring hearing this but any chance of using the post 1801 flag for the UK?

In the 1812 war m8 the RN suffered some humilating losses at the hands of the americans, they did save face towards the end of the conflict though.

Pups could you wave your magic wand over the AI and make it that they play your tunes, i hate going into battle and my troops seem to be the only ones that are getting jiggy with it.

I was wondering that about myself, you don't always hear the other armies calls and orders. Sometimes you hear one or two, otherwise they are usually silent.

I do hear them despatch orders but i think if sounds were linked to all the movement commands it might do it. Also could you replace the Viva Le France to Viva Le Emperor, like Godpuppet mentioned, when they take a flag.

They should be linked to all movement commands, I am pretty sure of that, otherwise the player would not hear things sometimes. Im not sure what could the cause be. And BTW, I've found a bug in the KGL mod as well. When you fight another neutral country, their line and light inf will show up white. I've fixed this problem, I should have a new version up by the end of the day.

I thought the KGL lights wore Black trousers and jackets?

2nd Oct 2005, 02:18
Im looking at a drawing of KGL light Inf in Green jackets and green trousers...(Adkin-Waterloo Companion)

3rd Oct 2005, 08:39
KGL had riflemen that were in green - similar to the 95th uniform but with wings on the jackets as seen on lights and grenadiers - they also had redcoat battalions who were musket armed and also artillery divisions who wore standard artillery uniforms (blue & grey). The all blacks were typically from a Hanoverian regiment (name escapes me at the mo) but they had the skull and crossbones on their Shakos - dead cool eh. (Damn i should get a life) :p

3rd Oct 2005, 08:40
Ah i remember now the Brunswickers - they were from Hanover and in all black :D
