This is an excerpt from the German Playstation mag and from what I understand it claims the boss in the game is something "supernatural" meaning not a person.

"The developer, Crystal Dynamics - based in San Francisco – has kept quiet about the story and the history. Nevertheless we know that we can expect 8 levels in Tomb Raider Legend that all will be differently designed.

One of the most important levels will be Lara’s trip to the Himalayas. As already mentioned quite often in Ms Croft’s history, she had a drastic experience there. What happened influenced her that much that she left her protected life as aristocrat behind her in order to work as a female Indiana Jones.

The pretty adventurer won’t only fight against typical rogues and aggressive animals in her second ps2 game but also superhuman and supernatural creatures that will make her life even more difficult. In addition spectacular boss fights will enrich the forthcoming hunt for the lost artifact."

Okay, let's see. I can only guess the following words:-

San Francisco
Tomb Raider Legend
Lara
Indiana Jones
Lara's trip to Himalayas
Ms. Croft

I don't know this language, but I could've help translating it if it was Japanese.

They are drooling about the details in the game (Birds flying away when Lara jumps into the water, nifty light effects) and about the streaming technology which prevents noticable loading times.
