I was over at the Gamespot site and it said (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/commandosstrikeforce/preview_6126141.html) that the release date for this game is on the 21st of June 2005.
Can that be confirmed by anyone?

I can confirm that's not true. :)
I think it will be released around Q4 or something.

Well, as the particular date comes closer I am pretty sure we'll be certain about that. Any idea on a release date for the demo?

Knowing Pyro Studios they will probably release a demo about a month before the game release.

Is that certain? Because as I recall the C3 demo was released in parallel with the actual release of the game.

Yeah... what a seer you are... :p ;)

But it could have been released in-house... LOL

Ok, according to a spanish site (http://www.game.es/ficha/ficha.asp?sku=036204), the known release for the game would be 30th of September 2005. That strikes as nostalgic as Commandos 2 was released also on the end of September 2001.

And now, according to pczone (http://www.pczone.co.uk/news/news_story.php?id=121166), the date is 19 August 2005.

Well, well...

From our interview (http://www.tafn.info/TAFN/commandos/html/info_interview_feb2005.php):

What are the expected system requirements? Will people with a relatively low-end machine be able to play the game properly? And is slanted at all, towards either nVidia or Ati graphic cards?

JM: This is an easy question for the console versions, but for PC is bit too early ;-). Let’s just say that people will not be surprised in a bad way for the requirements. They will not need to buy the latest machine for this game. And the game will run fine in both nVidia and ATI cards. We are working with nVidia and we are really happy with their support and help, but that doesn’t mean that ATI doesn’t have good graphic cards too.

iakovos, I actually don't see it coming out this year really...

Well, like a year or more in delaying again... 2006... sounds Pyrostudios have not changed a bit... lol

Just making another post to highlight this to everyone.
According to the take2 site (http://www.take2.co.za/product.php?id=53511%22), the specs are as follows:

Recommended
Operating System: Windows XP
Processor: CPU Pentium 4 2.4GHz or Athlon64 3000
Video Card: Geforce FX 5700 or Radeon 9600 or higher
CD-ROM: CDRom 52x or DVD Rom 16x
RAM: 512 MB RAM

Minimum
Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
Processor: Pentium PIII 800 MHz Processor or AMD Athlon
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 2 or ATI Radeon 7000 or higher
CD-ROM: 4X or Faster
RAM: 256 MB RAM

Seems like ordinary to me for today's standards... but still wonder why are so high the recommended specs.
