Project: Snowblind. The Trial By Fire Begins...

Life as a foot soldier of the future is a trial by fire. And Eidos is proud to announce that the trial has begun for players of Project: Snowblind. To celebrate the launch of Snowblind, Eidos will be awarding a special prize to our finest players, those who learn the lessons of combat quickest, who have the skill and the ruthlessness to survive. To win, you must claw your way to the top of the ladder and stay on top of it! The competition runs for thirty days following the launch of Project: Snowblind. To see how you're doing, check our online stats webpage http://stats.projectsnowblind.com.

The winners will be announced at the following times and dates:

Playstation 2(US) - Winner To Be Declared At: 12:00 HRS PST, 24 March 05
Playstation 2(Europe) - Winner To Be Declared At: 12:00 HRS PST, 12 April 05
PC - Winner To Be Declared At: 12:00 HRS PST, 14 April 05

The player occupying the top spot for each territory will win an Official Project: Snowblind Jacket! Wear the uniform with pride, soldier!

Official Rules

Only the user statistics displayed on the official Project: Snowblind stats webpage, http://stats.projectsnowblind.com will be counted toward this competition.

The user with the highest overall score in each of the following leaderboards at the time specified below will be declared the winner:
Playstation 2 (US) - 12:00 PM PST, 24 March 05
Playstation 2 (Europe) - 12:00 PM PST 12 April 05
PC - 12:00 PM PST, 14 April 05

Players must claim their prize via email to community@eidos.com with verification of their user name, the email address associated with that user profile, the player's full name and date of birth, and a shipping address, within 5 days of the announcement of the winner. (The announcement will be made on the official Project: Snowblind stats webpage, http://stats.projectsnowblind.com) or another user will be selected as the winner.

By the act of claiming a prize, the player gives Eidos, Inc the right to contact that user, and to verify that user's game profile and account information.

Any violation of the terms of our online agreement by a player will disqualify them from eligibility to receive prizes. The copy of this agreement is located here: www.eidos.com/online/

A player must be at least thirteen years of age to be eligible for prizes.

Employees of Eidos, Inc, any of its subsidiaries, or members of their families, are ineligible for prizes.

"...Eidos will be awarding a special prize to our finest players." :rolleyes: So does that mean your giving out Jackets not just for the #1 player on the ladder and also for all the Top 15 Players :D ;) :p Because you know I'm in the Top 15 and I would like to have a Jacket for me to brag about. :cool:

DOA's Pokemon has emerged victorious from the official Project: Snowblind 'Trial By Fire' competition for US Playstation 2! Congratulations to our winner Who will not only be enshrined in the Liberty Coalition Honor Guard (http://stats.projectsnowblind.com/news/honorguard.html), but will also receive a free Project: Snowblind combat jacket!

Pokemon was engaged in a spirited fight with the Grave Diggers' Killabee, who actually took the lead at one point in the contest. The top scorers were (at the close of the contest):

CaptainSkyShark (also of the Grave Diggers) 51,965 pts
Ev1Lone 47,276 pts
PhantomSniper 39,470 pts

Our International Trial By Fire winner has been announced! From the P:SB community site:

OmegaMich has emerged victorious in the official Project: Snowblind 'Trial By Fire' Playstation 2 International competition! OmegaMich eked out the victory in a very close race with MAKAVELI, winning by less than 4,000 points. The top scorers were (at the close of the contest):

The winner of the Trial By Fire Worldwide competition for PC is (drum roll) JeJ[DX]! From the Snowblind community site:

JeJ[DX] crushed the opposition(scoring 53270 points), with only Aris666 (32,763 points), JayJay379 (27,323 points), and Splitter (16,523 points) offering serious opposition.
