First, your post needs to be in ENGLISH. Few here can read your ERROR codes and information.

We also need to know:
What is your CPU?
What is your Sound Card?
What is your operating system (XP ME 98 )?
What is your Video Card, and what driver is it using?

These should have all available information on know problems and fixes, and links to other sites that may help you.

If you can post your question in ENGLISH do so, and we will try to help.

well.....it looks like you better format and reinstall the whole game again.
i always do that when i had same crashes in some of my games.
too bad you got to replay it all. but it will still be fun. do not worry.

Just hoping someone can help me out with my little problem...

you see, I bought Thief III a while ago and found out after I bought it that it required pixel shaders.

After slapping myself on the head for being an idiot, I decided that maybe I should just get a new video card, sooooo, I purchased an MSI NVIDIA FX5700LE off of NewEgg and installed it. I also upgraded my memory (SDRAM) to 896 MB and my processor runs at about 1.02 GHz (which I'm going to upgrade soon, but I figured I would at least try to run the game after installing my new vid card, new processor or not.)

Well, I installed the game, started up the thing, saw the neat little intro vids, reached the loading screen, saw the main menu for about a second, then...my computer rebooted. This happens every single time too. It has happened with the Far Cry game as well, at least the rebooting part after the game loads. (though only at certain settings: lighting raised to medium setting.)

I'm not sure, but I think that my graphics card does not support certain features of the driver used in Thief, but I really am ignorant about such things. If anyone has any helpful hints, please let me know:)

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!

there are some threads for technical issues like this, in fact there's a whole area for technical issues. sorry i'm not posting a link to them but i'm not too familier with how to do that and they are easy to find, there's a system specifications sticky in this forum.

From what I've read it looks like your video card should run the game. I notice you don't mention your sound card, what is it? I'm not sure if that would cause your problem but it's a start. also what Operating system are you running I know there are issues with windows 98, and maybe 2000/ME. read the technical forum it'll help you out a lot. oh, and good luck.
