When TR 7 gets released in 2005 will you be buying it straight off? Will you be waiting for some reviews before you release your cash?

I will be buying TR 7 as soon as it gets released because whatever is said about the game good or bad (good I should hope) then I would want to play the game for myself and then only decide if it lives up to the tombraider experience!

What are your thoughts on the matter guys/girls?

I will buy it straight off the shelf. Don't really listen to reviews.

I just hope the controls are much better. My sister wouldn't even play AOD because the controls were bad.

It seems I buy Eidos products if they run or not, if they're good or not.... Thief 3 springs to mind. Guess i'm just an idiot then?
No, I don't think so, they're collectables to me; just like some people collect stamps. You should see the thickness of the album now...

the staff at the Game shop will hav to try and stop me snatching it off them, if they dont put it on the shelf quick enough! what ever the critics have to say i'm buying it, after all it's Tomb Raider!

I think I would prefer playing a demo first, if there is one, to see how the game has changed and in what way, then buy the game. I do that with all games that I buy.

Maybe, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, it costs $60.00 for a game over here.:)

woah! that is only approx £26, I'd throw that away on a dvd/game no questions asked! does that make me stupid?:)

I'd buy it right away. I prefer to make up my own mind and don't pay much attention to reviews.

Not at all, if you can afford it than go for it. But I just wanted to see in what dirrection they would be taking TR before I buy the game. And I do have a child to support, so money can be tight sometimes.

Sometimes the games don't come out with demos....but one thing is for sure, I can't wait to see some new media. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/forums/graemlins/jumper.gif

What are you talking about? that is really cheap. I bet TR7 costs around 40-45 pounds, that's around 90 dollars right?

What R U talking about...? 90$ for a game??? That's just robbery... The maximum i ever payed for a game was 53E and i though it was quite expensive too...

i only pay around £30, so who's sellin games at 45, i buy from tesco they're cheapest in there. (tesco is a supermarket, sorry) specialist game shops seem to charge more for games! specially if they r in the charts!

Sorry if you don't agree, but when you have other commitments like food, rent and a child you have to be careful with your money.

It doesn't mean I'm not a true fan of the TR games, I'll problably buy it one day online when it's cheaper, but I would like to play the demo first to see what changes have been made to the game.

I will buy it when its released, I can't wait to get my hands on it! Victim? Yeah but thats my choice. In Northern England new games range from around £30 - £45 depending on which retail outlets you have access to. But I'll be there just as soon as its released. :p ;)

I hope they will release a demo for TR7.........Eidos never did release one for AOD, so I never did buy it. I probably won't unless I see it discounted heavily somewhere by chance.

Hmm. I was disappointed with Angel of Darkness. It didn't have the same thrill I got from the first five TR games. What can we expect in this latest version?
