At first, when this was the only forum I accessed, I was upset about the customer service and the fact that there seemed to be no SE presence here. It was all angry people complaining and a few helpful players giving each other what information they could.
Now I have found a few more resources I wanted to share with everyone.

This is the Lodestone forum "information" page. It has all of the information about updates, maintenance, and status of any ongoing issues.
Posts are to the point and informative, and also offer sincere apologies.

https://twitter.com/ff_xiv_en This is the twitter feed (you do not have to be a twitter user to see their updates.) with more concise updates and links to further information.

https://twitter.com/FFXIV_NEWS_EN This is the twitter feed specifically for news, focusing on maintenance and keeping us all up-to-date.

http://arrstatus.com/ This is an unofficial site made by a fan which updates every thirty seconds, showing you which servers are currently active and which are down (so you don't have to keep your login screen up and keep refreshing in hopes of finding the servers are fixed.)

I have heard rumors that SE Support is not available until Monday, but I have also heard people talking about the help they have gotten through call centers and chat help (though it did apparently take a long time, due to high volume.) If you have an issue and haven't tried to contact SE support because someone else said they are not currently available, I would say give it a try. It's worth a shot, and I highly doubt there would be no customer service on hand for the entire EA time period.

I know that a lot of people are upset over their code issues, and I can definitely understand that, but again all you can do is try to ask for help from support and hope that either you get your issue resolved, or will receive some kind of compensation once you do finally get access. They can't help you if they don't know, and obviously this forum is not the place to notify them that you need help.

I hope that this post has been helpful to some people who have gotten frustrated over the lack of answers and silence from SE because they, like I did, assumed that the forum originally linked to their game account would be the place to get information.

And, as always, have patience. It is frustrating, and even more so when you are a fan who has been really excited about getting started, but don't give up on it yet! There are bound to be hiccups in the EA period, and the sooner they shut things down and fix them the sooner we can all play.

it would of been nice to add the link to the Call centers or at least the UK call centre as its not listed on their support page !!

"The SQUARE ENIX Support Center is scheduled to be open this weekend during standard business hours for Early Access players. During this time, players can submit an email ticket after searching our Knowledge Base to reach a representative. Though we are anticipating a large ticket volume, we will make every attempt to assist everyone as fast as possible."

That is the NA site to submit an e-mail ticket.

https://support.eu.square-enix.com/contact.php?id=5383&la=2
That is the EU site to submit an e-mail ticket.

I don't have call center phone numbers, but I'm sure with a little digging you can find it for yourself.
It is admittedly a little difficult to find these support sites, but they are out there, and Google is your friend.

Oh, I found it. In like thirty seconds. Granted, it is posted as the contact for XI support, but I'm willing to bet it is the same center.
