ATI Radeon's created a Lara copycat Cartoon:

http://www.ati.com/ruby/index.html

Wish there'd be a Lara cartoon or TV show or movie just like this, or far more Lucozade ads too.

How many polygons per second would it take to create cartoon graphics like that? COuld that brand new Radeon graphics card do the trick? (or half it the trick).

I guess that this was to show off the new Radeons... they should be able to do it all in real time.

How much do these Radeons usually cost discounted or RRP?

Do you get these in Tibet, China?

Just wonderin' if Gamespot's based in the UK, then do they use MM/dd/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy?

Do they drive on the wrong side of the road? Use el cheapo 110 volt appliacnes?

Always wondered if they really could throw those dudes and make them do a front flip just by twisting their hand or something.

I click on the link and get a dark screen in the middle with shaded gray borders. Then everything stops. What gives?:(

[edit]
Ehhhhh..........it's not Netscape friendly, I guess. IE (shudder) works.......the preview feature didn't work, though.

Well it didn't do anything for me either. Nothing in Safari 1.2.2 or IE 5.2.3
And I have cable broadband and have the latest Flash Player 7 plugins installed.

Also on the DVD from PCFormat was a featurette, about the making of the short movie. If you can't see the demo, maybe you can get a copy of the magazine in your country....... http://www.pcformat.co.uk

Thanks for the link dhama, looks like a cool mag...but its not that important if I see it or not. Maybe its just some Micro$oft Windblows PC only kinda thing. :p I know there are some sites, albeit very few, that are only coded to work correctly if you have a PC and use IE.
Maybe I will try it later when my fiancee comes home with her Dell laptop.

yeah, I saw that too. Saw it on the website. They called it, meet the creators, I believe. That's where they showed lots of motion capture, and it's amazing that some stuntwoman could do front flips without using her arms at all.
